After a bit of rowing we reached at a place surrounded completely by water. Stars are shinning bright and I can't take y eyes off them. I kept looking up not realizing that Dhruv has stopped rowing the boat and he is now gazing at me with his beautiful pair of eyes with a pleasant smile. I felt his gaze and turned my eyes to him and there he is resting his face on his hand looking at me with love dripping from his eyes.

I wiggled my eyebrows questioning him and he simply nodded. 

" I love it Dhruv Thank you" My heart is so contented looking at the efforts that he is putting.

" I am glad you liked it....but this isn't it " He smirked.

" What do you mean? There's more" He nodded and clapped once the lights went out it got dark once again , a cold breeze blew between us , the weather is pleasant Dhruv got up and sat in front of me. I am looking at night sky feeling the cool breeze and soaking the happiness as much as I can.

After some time I saw a sky lantern rising from the roof of Jal mahal. Holy fuck. Did Dhruv-? before I could react the sky was filled with numerous sky lanterns. I covered my mouth with my hands and gasped. This is really happening...THE LANTERN FESTIVAL.

I looked at Dhruv who had a big smile on his face. I jumped and hugged Dhruv causing the boat to shake a bit , he engulfed me into his arms and kissed my head.

" I love you Dhruv...I love you so much " I squealed with joy.

" I Know baby " He said chuckling.

I got out of hug and sat back at my place admiring the view in front of my eyes , I was so engrossed in watching the lanterns that I didn't see Dhruv sitting their with a Lantern in his hand.

" Rose.. now it's our turn" I looked at him , my heart started doing summersaults I felt like a kid at candy store.

I nodded and he lit up the lantern. 

" Wait wait...." His eyebrows creased.

" Wish something first " He smiled nodding in disbelief.

I shut my eyes. Guess what I asked for? 

Dhruv.

I know he is mine but I also know that life is unpredictable. Practical much but true. So if there's anyway that i can make sure that we will be together forever then I would definitely do it.

I opened my eyes and found Dhruv gazing at me in amusement.

" Dhruv this isn't fair you have to wish something...chalo close your eyes" I pouted dramatically.

He chuckled and then closed his eyes like an obedient kid. After few secs he opened his eyes and we slowly released the lantern in dark night sky. It was swaying with the wind freely giving me immense happiness. 

Dhruv sat down in front of me and held my hands. I couldn't understand what was happening but it felt nice. I ran my hands through his hairs , his eyes were fixated on my face. He took my hand and enjoined our fingers.

" Rose"

"Hmm"

" I -" he looked down being coy. I chuckled looking at him ...shy Dhruv is my most favorite.

" Say it" 

" I love you " He looked into my eyes our eyes met ...but his eyes were in tears. I parted my mouth to say something but I couldn't , the smile on my face was gone as I realized the intensity of his love.
