---I never believed in destiny until my eyes fell on you---

The sun is slowly coming down to sleep in the embrace of the mighty river. Birds are singing a soulful melody , giving peace to the ears of the attendees and guest who are present in the Jasmine orchard for the union of two people who share the same soul.

The long awaited day is finally here. The journey of lot's of sacrifices , deaths and longing comes to an end today and as they say every end is a beginning , this is too. The beginning of joyous days and breath- stealing nights.

HaHaHaHa.

I step into the Jasmine orchard, fenced around with jasmine shrubs. The bridal entry song starts playing. My heart is thumping louder and louder with each step towards the Mandap .

I hope that everything gets better from now on , no more killing and revenge or the feelings of remorse and sorrow. My younger innocent self started dancing in front of my eyes. The little girl who wished to happy.

Look here comes the day that promises a lifetime of happiness.

A smile curved my lips. I didn't realize when my legs halted and I stood there like a statue with all eyes on me. The smile soon turned into a frown as now the images of my childhood started playing in my mind. The images of Dad and me playing in the same jasmine orchards where we will be taking our wedding vows. Tears started forming in my eyes because of his absence. Though we didn't share a very lovely bond but he stood with me at the moments that i needed him the most. He agreed to make Dhruv his son in law in spite of knowing that it might end up destroying families. He sacrificed himself for me. For our love.

My eyes lingered on the ground but soon they shifted to a huge hand with a wedding band. I lifted my eyes to find Dhruv looking at me with an assuring smile. I gulped in the sobs and the tears froze in my eyes. The knot in my chest was long gone. I stared into his eyes consuming the warmth , an ease travelled to my heart and I was no more breathing heavily. He gave me nod and I held his hand with a small smile. We walked on the white rose petals that were spread in our way to the mandap holding each others hand.

On the inside i am bursting with happiness almost feeling like I want to jump like a small kid. I glanced at Dhruv checking him out from top to bottom , clicking his pictures from my eyes to store them in my mental memory book.

The Ivory sherwani is perfectly suiting his well maintained body. The shawl wrapped around him is screaming 'King'. His face is adorned by a beautiful smile that is unmissable these days. His sharp features are cutting through my heart . I lifted my chin up to look at the sky that was painted in the colors of sunset.

Thank you god for making the most handsome man in the world fall in love with me.

I chuckled mentally. Or maybe not.
