"Banno re Banno meri chali sasural ko akhiyo me pani de gayi"  Naira sang covering her head with dupatta standing on my bed.

" Drama Queen" I snickered and Khwab nodded looking at us. She is doing my hairs because she believes that she is the only one who has the right on my hairs because she loves them. And the way she makes them look glamourous tell a lot about her fascination with them.

" The high school sweet hearts are getting married finally " Naira jumped of the bed.

" Madam Clumsy ,Sambhal ke lag jati toh" I almost yelled and Khwab flinched a bit. I was looking at Naira through the mirror who didn't bother and rolled her eyes.

" Exactly, Rajveer would have killed us" Khwab said with her eyes fixated on my hairs.

" He would have but not you guys , I love you naa" She said stretching the I love you , sure she loves us a lot.

" Vaise Tara what have thought about first night huh? Are you gonna do it or-" Khwab elbowed Naira stopping her from speaking any further.

"What? You don't glare at me like that I know what you did just after getting married , Your Mr Handsome didn't let you leave the room for straight 3 days " Naira teased Khwab and that girl blushed. Her face got flushed and she blushed. Motherhood and her man are suiting her well. I am really happy for three of us.

Honestly , they are the best thing that happened to me. Even in all this chao Khwab chose to stand by my side and Naira she herself faced a lot of pain but still stood with me like a pillar. Even her absence gave me strength. The journeys that we went on was filled with thorns but today it all seems worth it.

" Tara beta , Are you ready?" Mom entered the room with a plate filled with Henna cones which are to be kept outside.

" Yes Aunty , just a little touch up and I will bring her outside in 10" Khwab said spraying the hairspray on my hairs. I smiled at mom and she stood there admiring me for good 5 minutes until her eyes got teary.

"Okay you guys carry on and bring her outside everyone's waiting for my little bride" Mom said and went out before the tears could spill out of her eyes. She has started showing me her vulnerable side which i like because now i know she cares now I know she loves me. I am not confused anymore.

I took a deep breathe and looked at myself finally ready for the Mehendi ceremony. My hairs were made into a fish tale by my sweet hairdresser keeping in mind my comfort while I get my henna done. The lehenga suited me and made me feel like I am the prettiest. Real jewellery covered me from head to toe and  loved every bit of it though it's a little heavy but as we all know beauty can be a little painful.

" Should we leave ?" Khwab asked me and I nodded getting of my vanity chair. We walked into the flawlessly decorated yard. I wonder how they managed to decorate it this wonderfully. A swing was kept in the middle laden with dark Pink and white flowers , resonating with my outfit. Ladies were sitting singing folk songs and playing Dholak. Alia , Chachi and mom were getting their hennas done. Khwab and Naira helped me get to the swing and made me sit. Two of the mehendi artist came and picked each one of my hand and started showing their talents.

Their hands worked so smoothly no wonder they are professionals.

" Mam , please hide the name of her husband " Naira jumped in and pleaded the artist. I looked at her in disbelief but honestly it would be fun making it hard for Dhruv to find his name. The artist laughed and so did all of us. She hid Dhruv's name on the inside of my ring finger. Well even I couldn't see it clearly for the first few times until I saw it again and again.
