Akrati Forever & Always

A New Start

On Friday, 8th December 2023, At 7:30 pm, I sent Akrati a message, "Akriti?". I waited the whole day but there was no response from her. Eight days later, on the 16th, I messaged her again, "Hey Akriti do you remember me?". Then after a few minutes her message came, "Hi". My restlessness stopped after seeing her reply. But that was not a complete reply, it was just a, "hi". She probably couldn't reply properly because I was an early riser and had messaged her at 6 am. Then around 1 o'clock in the day she again replied to my question,
"Hey Akriti do you remember me?", with, "No, who's this!?", with a mouthless emoji. I replied, "Oh man!, it's me Arsh James, the jaipuria one". She replied, "yes!, I remembered". My mind felt at peace after hearing that she still remembers me.

I asked her, "How are you?", with a crying emoji. Instead of telling me how she was, she replied, "why are you crying?". So i replied, "I have been searching for your Instagram account for a year and I got it now". It seemed as if she didn't care about it.
She just asked me, "Where did you get it from?". I replied, "There is a boy, he also takes tuition from your father". She replied, "Suvrat?". I replied, "yeah". Then she said, "hmm you must have taken it from him". I replied, "yup".

Then the same day at night I posted a story on Instagram in which I apologized for disturbing everyone because my friend had spread rumors that I died in an accident. Akrati's reply came to me on that same story in which she asked me, "which day?". I replied, "it was a few days ago". She replied, "Accident?". Then I explained everything to her. After that she asked me, "who that guy was". I replied her, "he was my friend". She said, "Yes, mostly close friends do all these things". Then I asked her, "How much time do you think it would have been?". She replied, "maybe a year?". I said, "yeah, it's been a year". Then our conversation ended there.

We kept talking like this every day till 22nd December. But then on December 22, I replied to one of her stories on Instagram, it was about her vacations. Then we talked a bit on that topic and she asked me, "Where will you go during these vacations?". I replied, "just tomorrow". She asked me, "where?". I replied, "Dhanaulti". She herself said, "Maybe I'll also go somewhere on Sunday". I replied, "where?". She said, "Delhi". I asked her, "relatives?". She replied, "yup, my grandmother's house". Then she said, "I don't feel like going but my mother is forcing me to take me along". I asked her, "So where did you feel like going?". She replied, "I don't want to go anywhere, I just want to sit at home and sleep, I also have a lot of k dramas left which I have to finish". I replied, "haha, I thought so". I then asked her about her favorite
k drama. She replied, "it's True beauty". Then she asked me, "which one is yours?". I replied, "why don't you guess". She said, "What's wrong with secretary Kim?". I've never even heard of that k drama but i replied, "How did you know that?, You have given the right answer". Then she said, "really, am i right?". I replied, "yes you are". She got very happy after hearing that her guess was right, and from then on "What's wrong with secretary Kim?" became my favourite k drama.

Then she herself said, "Do you know what happened today? My teacher confiscated my phone in school, i got it back with great difficulty". That was the first time she told me about her day. We talked about this topic for a while longer, then she said, "bye" and went offline.

I wanted to see if she was still interested in me, so I didn't message her after the 22nd and I didn't get any messages from her. But then on 24th, I had posted a story on Instagram about fishes on which I had given a detailed view. Akrati's message came on that story, "which fish is this?". I replied, "Alligator gar fish". Then she said, "Did you already have all this knowledge or did you receive it today?". I replied, "No I already had it. I love animals very much". She said,
"I thought only dogs". I replied,
"Yeah they too and also I have been very attracted to nature since childhood and animals are also attracted to me". She replied, "that's nice" and our conversation ended there.
