The evening after Taehyung’s dramatic ghost hunt, the Kim family gathered in the living room, winding down from the day's events. Seokjin was seated on the sofa with Yoongi beside him, who was trying to enjoy a quiet moment despite the previous day’s chaos. Taehyung was perched on an armchair, still animatedly discussing the ghostly evidence he’d collected.

Namjoon, ever the mediator and voice of reason, decided it was time to step in. He sat down in the armchair opposite Taehyung, looking thoughtful. “Taehyung,” he began calmly, “I think we need to address this ghost theory logically. There must be rational explanations for what you’ve experienced.”

Taehyung shot him an incredulous look. “Rational explanations? Namjoon, I saw Yoongi fall from the observation deck! And then he just magically appeared the next day. How is that rational?”

Namjoon leaned forward, his analytical mind at work. “First of all, about the ‘fall.’ It’s possible Yoongi was near the deck but not actually falling. There could have been a misunderstanding or misperception. People’s minds can play tricks on them in stressful situations.”

Taehyung crossed his arms defiantly. “But the lights flickering, doors creaking—those were not just my imagination. And Yoongi’s disappearing act? That’s not something you can just explain away!”

Namjoon held up a hand. “Okay, let’s break it down. Flickering lights and creaking doors could be due to old wiring or structural issues in the building. As for Yoongi disappearing, he could have had some urgent matter to attend to, or it could have been an ordinary miscommunication.”

Taehyung’s eyes widened with frustration. “And what about the fact that Yoongi sometimes seems to be in two places at once? Are you saying that’s just coincidence?”

“Look,” Namjoon said patiently, “I’m not saying it’s all easily explained away, but it’s worth considering that there might be logical reasons behind these events. We live in a big, old house with its share of quirks. Yoongi might just be a bit of an oddball, but that doesn’t make him a ghost.”

Taehyung shook his head vigorously. “You’re just saying that because you’re trying to protect your brother. I still think there’s something supernatural going on.”

Namjoon sighed and straightened up. “Alright, if you’re so convinced, how about we make a bet? If Yoongi proves to be an ordinary person, you owe me dinner for a month. If it turns out he’s a ghost, I’ll owe you dinner. Deal?”

Taehyung’s eyes lit up at the challenge. “Deal! You’re on. I’ll make sure Yoongi’s true identity is revealed, and you’ll be paying up!”

Namjoon smiled, amused by Taehyung’s enthusiasm. “Fine. Let’s see where this goes.”

Over the next few days, Taehyung’s investigation into Yoongi’s supposed ghostly nature only intensified. He began to pay even more attention to Yoongi’s habits and movements, taking note of every little detail that could potentially serve as evidence. The house became an unofficial headquarters for Taehyung’s investigations, with notebooks filled with observations and theories.

Namjoon, for his part, kept his distance from the drama, though he maintained a watchful eye on Taehyung’s antics. Whenever Taehyung proudly presented a new “discovery,” Namjoon offered his calm, reasoned explanations, always emphasizing the need for rationality over superstition.

Seokjin watched this sibling rivalry with a mix of amusement and concern. He knew Taehyung’s obsession with the idea of Yoongi being a ghost was causing unnecessary stress, but he also appreciated Namjoon’s attempts to keep things grounded.

One evening, as Seokjin and Yoongi sat in the kitchen, sharing a quiet meal together, Taehyung burst in, holding a camera and a flashlight. “Seokjin, Yoongi! I’m conducting another investigation. Care to join?”

Yoongi, looking bemused, took a sip of his tea. “Another one? What’s the latest theory?”

Taehyung grinned mischievously. “I’m checking for any hidden ghostly presences. We might find something interesting.”

Seokjin laughed softly. “You’re really committed to this, aren’t you, Taehyung?”

“I am!” Taehyung declared, setting up his equipment with exaggerated precision. “This is serious business.”

As the night went on, Taehyung’s attempts to catch Yoongi in the act of being ghostly resulted in humorous and often ridiculous scenarios. From trying to get Yoongi to walk through a makeshift “ghost detector” (which was really just a pile of metal and LED lights) to attempting to catch him on film with his “night-vision goggles,” the evening turned into a comedy of errors.

Despite Taehyung’s best efforts, the results were inconclusive, and Yoongi remained as ordinary as ever. Eventually, Taehyung had to admit that his ghost-hunting methods might not be as foolproof as he’d hoped.

Taehyung reluctantly accepting that he might not have concrete evidence to support his ghost theory, though he remained determined to uncover the truth. Meanwhile, Namjoon enjoyed a quiet victory, though he kept a watchful eye on Taehyung’s ongoing antics.

As for Yoongi, he continued to be a calm, enigmatic presence in Seokjin’s life, adding to the amusing complexity of their family dynamic.
