IT'S DONE, FOLKS!
AS OF 16TH SEPTEMBER 2024, CORRUPT IS OFFICIALLY A COMPLETE NOVEL.
I am super, super proud of the world and story I have created. I am not, by any means, a professional author. I am a young writer, finding her feet. After my first story, For Me (go check it out!), I wanted to work on a fantasy, a more complex tale. And this, as you probably guessed, is that.
This story has been a journey. A DIFFICULT journey. Whilst I often write in simple, "train-of-thought" prose, this was a story that actually needed plotting! It needed help! It needed the support of my WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL friends, many of whom have namesakes within this novel, and one of whom has absolutely saved me with a multitude of voice notes with incredible ideas that I could never have come up with. I am incredibly grateful for all of them.
MEANWHILE.
Since this story has been a lot more complex to craft, I now have a LOT of edits that I wish to make! So this remains a complete FIRST DRAFT! Over the next year or so I'll be returning, making tweaks, possibly changing plot details. If you have any ideas, feedback, criticism... I want to hear it! You can help make the changes you want! So please do comment, vote, message me with ALL your ideas.
