▪︎ FUNNEH'S POV ▪︎
I was walking around, Alec and the others following behind. I spotted Mr. Tacoes' old room. "Hey, remember when we got lunch detention?" I said with a smile.
"Yeah, he took away my cheezos," Gold replied, sounding annoyed.
I scanned around and found our old yearbooks, I brushed some dust off and it read, 2015-2016. I flipped through some pages and found all of us, 'hey, guys looks at this.' I said showing them the book. Evelyn looked up and shined her flashlight at old papers on a nearby desk.
"Did you guys realize that everything is just left here, partially new?" Evelyn observed, her flashlight illuminating a desk with some old papers scattered on it.
I turned around and shined my light on various objects. "I guess you're right," I said with a shrug. "It's like they left in a hurry."
"It's really weird," Valerie added, looking around the abandoned room. "It's like they just walked out and never came back."
Suddenly, a loud bang echoed through the hallway. We all spun around, but the corridor was empty and silent.
"Did anyone else hear that?" Evan asked, his voice laced with concern.
"I heard it," Kyran said, his mood darkening. "It sounded like it came from somewhere close."
I looked around to see if everyone was still with us and noticed Yandere was missing. It was odd; she had been right behind us.
"Where's Yandere?" I asked, feeling a bit uneasy.
Alec grabbed my hand and said, "Come on, let's investigate."
▪︎ ALECS POV ▪︎
I led the group through the dark hallways, our flashlights barely cutting through the gloom. "Stay close and keep an eye out for anything unusual," I instructed.
Kyran was scanning the walls with his flashlight. "We should check the main hall. It's the biggest room; maybe we can find some clues there."
Gold, looking apprehensive, said, "I just hope it's nothing serious. I'm not really in the mood for a ghost hunt."
▪︎ EVELYN'S POV ▪︎
I was trying to stay focused, but the eerie atmosphere was making it hard. "Let's stick together," I said, trying to be practical. "Splitting up could be dangerous."
Suddenly, a cold breeze swept through, making us shiver. "Is it just me, or did it just get colder?" I asked, wrapping my arms around myself.
"Definitely colder," Evan agreed, looking around nervously.
▪︎ VALERIE'S POV ▪︎
As we reached the main hall, I noticed something strange. The large windows, which were once covered, now had a faint glow coming through them. "What's that light?" I asked.
"I don't know," Senpai said. "But we should check it out."
We moved towards the source of the light, finding a door slightly ajar. I noticed some old posters peeling off the walls. "I feel like we're being watched," I said quietly, trying to keep my fear in check.
▪︎ FUNNEH'S POV ▪︎
We pushed the door open, revealing a room with old desks and chairs scattered about. The light seemed to be coming from a corner of the room where a strange, old machine sat, blinking with a faint, eerie glow.
"This is getting creepy," I said, my voice trembling a bit. "What's that machine?"
Aly stepped closer, her mood shifting from annoyed to nervous. "Maybe it's some kind of old school equipment? It looks like it hasn't been used in years."
Suddenly, a shadow flickered across the room, and the machine let out a soft, unsettling hum.
"Everyone, stay alert," Alec said, his voice steady. "We need to figure out what's going on."
We all gathered around the machine, trying to make sense of the situation. The air was thick with tension, and I could see my breath in the cold room.
▪︎ YANDERE'S POV ▪︎
Meanwhile, i was quietly observing from the shadows, hidden behind an old curtain. My eyes were fixed on the group, and she was waiting for the perfect moment to make her presence known.
