Laying on the bed, Jisoo cannot seem to fall asleep as she shifts left and right. She is careful with moving since Taehyung is sleeping soundly beside her.
What Jungkook said has been disturbing her mind for a few days now. Not just what he said, his actions, that were bold and shameless, have become more and more blatant to the point he isn't scared of his family catching them.
Other than worrying Jin, Jungkook has been on her mind. Fury, rage, annoyance, anger, distraction, and hatred. Being a jerk is one thing but continuously teasing her any chance he gets is another.
He is like a little child who has finally found a toy to pass his time. Taehyung and him are palpably different in characters.
One is kind, sweet, and gentle. While the other one is rude, mean, and devious.
The way Jungkook is making fun of her shows how immature he is compared to his brother. Taehyung may treat her well as per contract and as an understanding man, but he is not someone who inappropriately stares at her and makes her feel uncomfortable.
These days, he continues to imply that if the time comes when she upsets him, he will expose their scheme in front of everyone and ruin Taehyung's plan.
She can't let him do that. Not when they are doing well at convincing his family and are about to have an engagement party in a week. This is the first milestone for Taehyung to claim his position and no one can take his place after that.
She wonders if Jungkook is doing it because he wants to be the heir instead? She can't tell from the way he behaves. He is a very complicated guy.
Then she remembers what he said when they met across the hallway.
-
“I’m beginning to have a huge interest in you, little thief.” He said as he cornered her with his body.
Scoffing, she replied. “Weren't you the one who said he had no interest in a girl with a boyfriend? What happened to that?”
His lips curled. “Well, you do not have a boyfriend.”
She glared at him and pushed his chest. “I'm going to be engaged in a few days.”
“We both know that is fake anyway.”
“Even if you have interest in me, that's your problem. Besides, I hate you.”
“Why do you hate me? I'm a very nice guy.” He put his hand on the wall above her head.
“First time we met, you degraded me in public without giving me a second to explain. Second time you were rude to me. And now you show no respect towards me. You are egoistical. Tell me, shouldn't I hate you?”
“Those reasons are too soft to hate me, little thief. Although they’re understandable. What should I do to make you not hate me?”
“Easy. Get out of my face.”
“That's not a good way.” He pouted with a head tilt. “Be honest, you are starting to like me too.”
She didn't get to respond back as someone called her name. She pushed him away and walked off, ignoring the laughter he made.

Jisoo has met good-looking guys in her whole life. There are nice men that can be counted on while there are lots of dimwits who are plainly insulting to the point of forcing her to throw hands at them, of course, inwardly.
Jungkook is one of them.
Taehyung turns and faces her. Even though there is a bolster between them, he is so close to her and almost reaching her side. And suddenly, his one arm throws over the pillow and lands on her chest.
She shrieks in silence and shifts away. Taehyung is a light sleeper but he oftens takes more space than hers which sometimes renders her unable to keep a proper distance.
She will never cross the line as she never wants to betray her friend and respects the guy. She is doing it for the business and nothing more than that. After Taehyung claims his position, she will have to say goodbye to everyone and leave for good. No one will want to see her face again, the liar and a worthless girl who uses her body to earn money.

“When do you plan to talk to your sister?” Jungkook asks as Seokjin returns from his school.
Like a stubborn kid who is still mad about the past, he does not want to talk to his sister. Not only the guy who paid and helped him at the hospital explained to him about the reasons his sister gave him to his relatives, but also his savior told him the same.
Which pissed him off more. This whole time, he hated his only sister for baseless accusations but at the same time he still couldn't forgive her for choosing to abandon him instead of keeping him with him. He wouldn't mind living in debts if he had his sister by his side. He wouldn't mind if people make fun of his status because he had his sister. He wouldn't mind anything at all.
“What relationship do you have with her that you are trying so hard? I don't think she is even interested in you. She has another man.”
Jungkook scoffs. “The man she's dating for the debts you mean.”
“I don't think that guy is faking though. The way he looks at her…isn't simple.” Jin says and heads to his room but he pauses in the way and turns to look at him. “Wait, do you like my sister too?”
Jungkook blinks his eyes, he doesn't know the answer either.
Jin’s lips widen as he bursts out laughing. “Omg! I can't believe my sister can pull guys! I really thought she was innocent and didn't know how to attract guys but—wow! Even you? Oh gosh, this is new! Way to go, Noona.”
Although his zealous reaction annoys Jungkook, he can't help but smile. “You are finally calling her your Noona.”
Jin stops laughing and shyly turns on his heels. “I'm taking a shower.”
Jungkook shakes his head with a small chuckle and heads out to the mansion. It's high time his little thief knows what he has been doing for her.
