Part 19

Sophia's POV

It has been two days since Joel proposed to me. Everywhere I go  the paparazzi keep finding me, it’s annoying. Even if I just go by myself. Like the other day me and Max went out together to get some lunch and they accused me of cheating on Joel. Today me and Shania are going shopping at the shopping centre. I was glad we made up to be honest.

I walked into a little coffee shop for a coffee and I saw me on the cover of a newspaper. I picked up the newspaper. On the front it said:

'Is Sophia cheating on Joel from Lawson for Max from The Wanted?'

Nia: 'What's up?'

Me: 'Look at this'

Shania read the article about me.

Nia: 'Stupid paparazzi thinking they know it all'

Me: 'But I would never cheat on Joel if he sees this he might think I'm cheating'

Nia: 'Ring him'

I got my phone out my bag and sat down at a table and rang Joel.

Joel: 'Hello?'

Me: 'Hey it’s me, urm have you looked at the newspapers yet?'

Joel: 'No should I?'

Me: 'No it’s the shitty paparazzi spreading shit, you know I was with Max the other day for lunch?'

Joel: 'Yeah?'

Me: 'Well they think I'm cheating on you for Max'

Joel: 'What why would they say that?'

Me: 'I don't know, I just wanted to tell you in case you thought-'

Joel: 'I thought you were cheating?'

Me: 'Yeah, babe it’s not true, you can ask Max'

Joel: 'Yeah I know babe, I know you wouldn't cheat because I'm way sexier than Max' he laughed down the phone.

Me: 'Yeah you are! Alright babe, I will see you later, I love you!'

Joel: 'Love you too, have fun'

Now that's sorted I can enjoy the rest of this shopping trip.

Nia: 'Is everything okay?'

Me: 'Yep' I smiled.

Me: 'Shania who do you think should give me away?'

Nia: 'Why not your mum?'

Me: 'Eh, she is always busy on business trips'

Nia: 'Good point'

Me: 'Would it be weird if Tom did as I only met him a few weeks ago?'

Nia: 'No, he saved your life remember'

Me: 'I know.. But would he find it weird?'

Nia: 'Probably not'

Me: 'Okay then, let's keep shopping'

We went from shop to shop looking at clothes and also a few wedding shops. We got lunch, it was very nice. We decided we had enough and we got a bus home. We were at the bus stop and some fans of The Wanted came over to us.

Fan: 'You two are such slags!'

Me: 'Excuse me?'

Fan: 'You heard'

Nia: 'How are we slags?'

Fan: 'Because you cheated on Joel for Max'

Me: 'What, I would never do that, look I was going out for Lunch with Max, Max is a really good mate, he is already seeing someone so think about what you say alright'
