Part 54

Shania’s POV

Right now I was on a plane to LA. Lawson had a few things with management to do so I decided to tag along. I had to leave Jay at home with my mum as I don’t think he would enjoy the 13 hour flight, plus we were only here for a few days.

‘Hey Shania, we landed’ Andy softly said to me.

I got off the plane and was about to grab my luggage until Joel pulled me towards him.

‘You have to tell me where Sophia is!’ he said close to my face scaring me a little. His eyes were all red and puffy, like he’s been crying.

Me: ‘I-I don’t know where she is’

‘I know you do! Just tell me.. please!’ He pleaded. I did feel a little sorry for him. But I know I shouldn’t.

‘I guess I could ask her boss’

‘Thank you Shania!’ he pulled me into a hug. I stood there awkwardly.

I got to my luggage then my phone rang. It was an unknown number.

Me: ‘Hello?’

‘Is this Shania speaking?’

Me: ‘This is her speaking’

‘It’s Phil, Sophia’s boss!’

Me: ‘Hey Phil! How’s Sophia?’

‘She has had a test done, to see how she is’

Me: ‘Do you think she will alright?’

‘I reckon so, anyway I heard you’re in LA?’

Me: ‘Yeah, Lawson is here to see their record label for some meetings’

‘Good, look I’m throwing Sophia a party tonight at her new house and wondered if you could come as she doesn’t know anyone around here’

Me: ‘I guess I can, wait should I bring the others?’

‘Um.. Will Joel be coming?’

Me: ‘Well I can’t really not invite him but the invite the others’

‘I’m not sure if that’s a good idea’

Me: ‘I understand, but maybe they need to sort this out’

‘I guess, it has affected Sophia’s working attitude’

Me: ‘Okay I will invite them all’

‘Alright, I will text you the details’

Me: ‘Okay see you later’ he hung up and I picked my luggage up. We got escorted from the building because of the paps. There was so many today.

We all got into the car and no one spoke. Not one word. I guess I had to.

‘Um.. Guys’

They all looked at me.

‘There’s a party tonight, fancy going?’

‘Whose party is it?’ Ryan asked. Should I say?

Me: ‘A friend of mine’

Joel looked at me. Ugh this is killing me.

Me: ‘Fine, its Sophia’s’

Joel eyes looked like they were about to pop out his head. He had a smirk on his face. I don’t like how this is going..

‘Sure sounds fun’ Andy answered.

Me: ‘Cool, Ryan, Adam?’

‘Yeah we will go’ Adam responded.
