A Holiday Gone Wild (Lawson/The Wanted)

Part 39

Shania's POV

I woke up to the sound of Jay crying which I guess I was getting used to now. I walked over to his cot and picked him up and cradled him in my arms. I rocked side to side to calm him down. I noticed Ryan must have gotten himself his own room as he never came into my room. 

I looked out my bedroom window and it was daylight, yellow American taxis were rushing around beeping at one another and the tall skyscrapers overpowering the sun into my room.

I walked out my room and knocked on Andy's room.

There was no reply which was strange. 

I went down to the restaurant in the hotel for breakfast. I noticed everyone was down here all eating breakfast. Did I wake up really late? However I didn't see Andy.

I placed Jay in the high stool next to Adam while I went to get my breakfast, I only got a bowl of cereal as I wasn't feeling that hungry. 

I went and sat next to Jay who was giggling at Adam who was pulling faces at him. I smiled; I began eating my cereal when I saw Ryan enter. We both haven't spoken since yesterday but something was making me want to apologise for my actions yesterday. 

I got up and walked over to Ryan, I saw him roll his eyes while I was walking over.

Me: 'Ryan, I just wanted to say I'm really sorry for yesterday, I don't know what came over me, I didn't mean to shout at you like that I-'

Ryan pulled me in for a tight hug. I retuned the hug. 

'It’s okay Shania, I'm just happy you apologised' he whispered in my ear making me tingle, why does he do that to me?

I pulled away and smiled at him before I went and continued my breakfast. I looked at Joel and Sophia and they looked perfect. 

'Shania, Jay is so adorable you ready for the next one?' Adam questioned me and my heart sunk. I completely forgot that I've lost my child. Sophia's head shot up from lying on Joel to be looking at me with compassion. 

I went to reply but nothing came out of my mouth I was completely speechless. 

'Um Adam, she lost it' Sophia spoke for me as she knew I couldn't.

'Oh Shania, I'm so sorry I asked' Adam came at hugged my tightly with his warmth which made me feel better. 

'You lost it?' Ryan questioned me. Well Sophia did just say..

'Yeah' that's all I could say. I didn't want to speak about it as I knew I would break down.     

'I’m so sorry Shania if I knew I wouldn't ha-'

Me: 'Its fine' a tear escaped my eye. I was trying my hardest to not let my tears escape.

'So, what should we do today?' Sophia asked. I looked up and she was staring at me. She could tell I was quietly sobbing to myself.

'Well unfortunately babe, we have to go to the studio for our new song' Joel began. They have a new song?

'Oh okay, just me and Shania'

'Andy you are such a charmer -laughs-'

'I am not.. Well maybe I am'

We all turned around to see Andy with this person who I couldn't recognise at first but she sounded familiar. My jaw dropped. Andy is with some other girl. I could tell I was jealous of her, even though me and Andy aren't a thing I still have feelings for him. 

The girl turned around and I saw it was the babysitter. Crap. I knew I couldn't trust her. I didn't even ask Andy yet if they could meet up. How does she know Andy? How long have they been out for? All these questions needed some answers. 

'I gotta go Andy, see you around?'

'Guaranteed'  Andy came and walked over to us. I turned myself around and avoided all eye contact with him. I was so pissed. 

'Who's the girl?' Ryan questioned.

'Ah, just an old friend'

'An old friend ay' Joel joined in. 

Everyone laughed except for me. I didn't find this one bit hilarious but one thing for sure, I needed to get Andy jealous.
