Andy's POV

Lucy and Shania have been gone for over half an hour now. Lucy only said 'quickly' and to me this is not a quick chat.

I was still standing with Max but it was awkward, we didn't say much, as we had nothing to say.

'Lucy!' I said once I finally saw her.

'Hey Andy' she gripped tightly around.

'Lucy where's Shania?' Max asked. Were the two seriously a thing?!

'Oh, I thought she was behind me, should we go look for her or something?' Lucy suggested, wasn't a bad idea.

Max agreed and us 3 left the house. The music outside was much quieter then inside, finally my ears can have a rest from the pumping music. Lucy directed us in the way her and Shania went, Lucy grabbed my hand and linked our hands together. The further along the street we got the tenser her hand got, but I didn't say anything.

'SHANIA? SHANIA, OH GOD!' Max shouted. He suddenly dashed to the end of the street, me and Lucy followed him behind.

'Shania, speak to me, say anything' she didn't respond.

'Shania, squeeze my hand if you can hear me' Max asked her after. Max was literally crying his eyes out. Whereas for me, I'm just in a lot of shock. I don't know what to do or what to say?

'CALL A FUCKING AMBULANCE ANDY AND DON'T STAND THERE!' Max shouted at me. I reached in my pocket and pulled out my phone, my hands now becoming shaky I dialled 999.

'Er..er..ambulance please'

'Pass it here!' Lucy grabbed my phone out my hand. What was wrong with me? I've never been this mortified in my life.

5 minutes later an ambulance arrived with a stretcher and Shania was immediately taken to hospital with Max. I still stood still. How did Shania get stabbed? How did Lucy not know?

'Andy, let’s go home and get some rest' Lucy suggested. I agreed, she called a taxi and we went home quickly.

Once we got home I decided I needed to tell Sophia.

'Lucy can you tell Sophia for me?' I asked while giving her my phone.

'Of course' I watched her dial Sophia's number until she answered.

'Yeah hey, Shania's in hospital, thought you should know, byee'

Me: 'You could have at least told her better' I snapped. Did she not realise her best friend is in hospital?!

Shania’s POV

I am in a heavy black cloud. Nothing to see. Nothing to hear. Just this heaviness in my whole body. So heavy that I cannot move. I can't remember how to open my eyes. Then I start to hear noises. The buzz of machines. Clicking of feet near me. Quiet talking. I lie still. I try to hear and make sense of it all. No idea. Where am I and why? Next I feel some light shining on my closed eyes. I struggle to open them. Finally I do. Success! I am in a bright white place. Someone is knelt beside me. She says my name, and repeats herself. I try to remember how to talk. No words come, but I blink hard. Suddenly I clear my throat. I think I am about to shout. But all that comes out is a tiny whisper 'What happened?’

‘Shania! Oh my god, I’m so glad you’re alright.. Max get the doctor!’

I scan my surroundings are try to familiarize myself of these faces, but I can’t figure them out.

‘Shania are you okay?’ she asked me.

Me: ‘What happened to me?’

‘Shania you were stabbed, don’t you remember?’
