Love potion// Jamilton

Chapter 2

Within 5 minutes the "potion" starts to kick in. I mean it's not magic but the alcohol and suggestion seems to blur the lines of their hatred.

Meanwhile John, Hercules, and Lafayette are watching them from the kitchen. "20 bucks Alex accidentally confesses his love tonight" John says "I'll double it if Jefferson does it first" Hercules added "you are both terrible " Lafayette says while laughing.

As the night progresses, Alex and Thomas's usual bickering was taking and extremely weird tone. Alex, instead of snapping insults every second, began muttering how often Thomas wore his magenta hoodie that he actually likes, while Thomas was telling Alex he was "almost tolerable" tonight. Which is the nicest thing Thomas has said to him ever.

Meanwhile at the snack table, Theodosia was scrolling on instagram when she felt a tap on her shoulder, it's Burr trying to look causal. "So uh... having fun?" Burr asks. Theodosia looks up "ehh this party's decent, what about you?" Burr panics "just... avoiding responsibility.... Like a real collage student" Theodosia laughs, surprising Burr. Burr grabs his phone and texts Alex.

StillWaiting: She laughed at something I said. Progress.

Meanwhile the group chat is going crazy

I❤️Turtles: Alex u look like your about to propose to Jefferson
HammyMan: SHUT UP JOHN
HercyJerky: it's fine if u do Alex just make it a good speech
HammyMan: I will end you

Lafayette is trying to keep the peace when he sees Alex and Thomas sitting way to close to each other near the couch. He decides to let the chaos unfold "I am not getting involved" he mutters to himself "this is above my pay grade".

Angelica, Eliza and Peggy are watching their love potion from afar. "This is going a lot better than I thought it would" Peggy says giggling."We may have created a monster, this is gonna haunt them for weeks" Angelica adds.

John, Lafayette, and Hercules have now migrated to the living room, drinks in hand. Enjoying the disaster between Thomas and Alex's "conversation". Hercules leans over to Lafayette "Should we stop 'em?" Hercules asks while Lafayette shakes his head "non, let them crash and burn".

Back at the snack table, Burr is trying to make small talk with Theodosia. "So... what are you thoughts on the ethics of student loans" He asks and Theodosia just stares at him before bursting out laughing. "You know you really are... something" He doesn't know if that's a compliment or insult but he'll take it.

Thomas is starting to feel a little too comfortable with Alex. He leans forward with that iconic grin plastered across his face "you know, for someone who hates me so much, your spending a lot of time near me tonight, Darlin".

Alex's heart races when Thomas calls him Darling, and he blames the punch. It has to be the punch, he can't be falling in love with his enemy, he just can't. "For someone who hates me so much, you seem to be enjoying this too" Alex shoots back thought his voice comes out a little weaker that intended. Thomas leans in more then before, their faces just inches apart "maybe you just can't resist me, Hon".

I know it took me a bit to post this chapter and it wasn't even long, and I'm sorry bout that I'll try to make the next one longer. I will try to update more regularly it's just I'm pretty busy with homework. (Art ain't mine)
