On Friday, after school Wyatt and Nolan were sitting at the breakfast nook with Frankie. Maddie was sitting at  the kitchen's island, texting away on her phone.

"Wyatt! Look at the text mom just sent!" Maddie yelled excitedly.

Wyatt pulled out his phone and read the text in their family group chat. He and Maddie then exchanged devious grins with one another.

"We're definitely throwing a party tonight!" Maddie exclaimed.

She hopped off the island counter and walked over to Nolan.

"Our parents are leaving town to visit Sam at college."

She then turned to Frankie to clarify.

"Sam is our older brother."

Frankie's heart dropped. She hoped they didn't expect her to attend this party. She couldn't be caught dead at a party. Her father would probably flay her or simply skin her alive. Besides, she had a strict curfew of 7:30.

"Let's get this last slide done so you guys can get to your party," Frankie said.

She looked at the time as it was going on six o'clock. If she got home earlier than usual, her dad would probably appreciate it.

"No," Maddie stomped her foot forward. "Kelly's not here so I need your help!"

Maddie grabbed Frankie's arm hastily and pulled her from her seat. She ushered her away and up the stairs.

"Wyatt, get the word out," She called back to her brother.

As Wyatt and Nolan were texting all of the greater Philadelphia area, Maddie dragged Frankie into her room.

"Whoa," Frankie remarked. "Your bedroom is so..."

She couldn't find the words to describe Maddie's room. The walls were vibrant with stickers and posters everywhere. It wasn't the neatest and her bed wasn't even made. It was a shocking contrast to Frankie's plain white bedroom with plain white sheets and pillows.

"Sit here Frankie. I'm going to pull out some outfits. I need you to help me pick out something hot!"

Maddie disappeared into her walk in closet. Frankie stared down at her white sneakers and ankle length skirt. Her blouse was tucked into her skirt and she wore a long cardigan over top.

Why would Maddie ever ask her for fashion advice?

She came out of the closet with a handful of clothes on and off hangers. Maddie laid them out on the bed one by one next to Frankie.

"These are clothes?" Frankie asked with her mouth wide open in awe. To her, they looked more like unfinished pieces of fabric.

There were crop tops, mini skirts, and tiny little dresses that didn't look like they could even fit Maddie. She held up a couple of clothes while standing in front of a large mirror. She kept putting herself down about her body and rejecting outfit after outfit.

Maddie picked up a black, strapless, midi dress. She held it up, only not to herself. Maddie held the dress out to Frankie.

"You should totally wear this! You would look so pretty!"

"Me!?" Frankie exclaimed. "No way, it would-"

"Totally make any guy melt? Hell yeah, try it on!"

Frankie shook her head no.

"Honestly, I couldn't. I could never wear anything so... so..."

The word Frankie was looking for was "racy" or "trampy" but she didn't want to say it aloud. She and Maddie had gotten so close in the past couple of weeks that she felt like they were becoming friends. Frankie, never having a friend before, didn't want to ruin their budding relationship with her opinion.
