Wyatt pulled his car up to a local restaurant on the other side of town.  Frankie sat beside him anxiously as she shifted uncomfortably in Maddie's clothes. The entire drive there, he tried his best not to stare at her body but in Maddie's attire, it was hard not to.

Frankie was wearing a denim mini skirt and a tight, cropped, knit sweater. It was the best Maddie could do for her in the realm of modesty. That word simply did not coexist with her wardrobe.

Wyatt reached out and gripped Frankie's knee like he had in the library. Only this time, it was exposed and Frankie could feel his hand more directly.

"You look pretty," he said quietly.

With her hair flowing down her shoulders and her face having a less flushed appearance, she was beginning to look like herself again. At least from the neck up.

"It's not unusual for girls to wear something like this on a date," he assured her.

"A date?" Frankie looked at him.

"Yes Francesca," he scoffed. "When two people go to dinner together, it's usually considered a date..."

Frankie thought about the fact that she wasn't allowed to date. She'd never been on one before but if she had, Wyatt would be her ideal suitor. Tall, handsome, strong, and charming. She scanned his body, looking at his outfit. His signature gray sweatpants, a long sleeve t shirt and a hooded jacket. Wyatt could tell she was observing him and cleared his throat.

"I know I'm not dressed fancy or anything but you look perfect."

Frankie smiled to herself and Wyatt couldn't help but grin proudly, knowing he'd made her feel good about herself.

When Wyatt turned the car off, he told Frankie to wait in her seat. He got out and walked around the car to her door.

"Now since this is a date, you have to let me open every door for you. And you have to wait for me to pull your seat out for you too."

Frankie gave him a quirky look and tilted her head.

"Why?" She asked.

Wyatt's expression mimicked her's when he thought about it for a second.

"I don't know... It's just what people do, I guess."

Wyatt had never been on a date before either.

He couldn't judge Frankie for it when he hadn't done it himself. Sure, he'd hung out with girls in groups, went out to eat and attended the movies playing at the local theater but this was different. This wasn't a group hang or a quick hook up. It was much more intimate with just Frankie and he was excited to try it.

Everything Wyatt knew about dates he'd seen in movies and on television. He heard stories from friends and listened to Maddie gush about dates she'd been on. The opportunity just never arose for him so he never put any of it into practice before. The first and only girl he was interested in taking out properly was Frankie.

"Am I allowed to hold your hand?" Frankie asked.

Wyatt looked down at Frankie and laughed at her question.

"Of course," he chuckled. "You don't have to ask. Just do it if you want to."

She had missed the feeling of her hand being in his so she decided to do it. Frankie reached out and took his large, warm hand. She smiled, feeling a bit embarrassed for showing her feelings but Wyatt liked that she was taking control.

As they walked into the restaurant, Frankie kept releasing Wyatt to adjust her clothes. She was constantly torn between tugging her skirt down which exposed her mid drift or pulling the skirt up to cover  her stomach thus exposing her legs even more.
