On Monday morning, Frankie sat at the kitchen island with a bowl of cereal she had made for herself. Sam came in wearing nothing but a pair of boxer shorts and pulled the refrigerator door open. He started chugging straight from the milk gallon causing Frankie to stare down at the milk in her bowl horrified.

She pushed the bowl of cereal away from herself as she no longer felt comfortable with eating what was inevitably soaked in Sam's backwash.

"That's disgusting," she heard from the other side of the kitchen.

Maddie came in all ready for school and tilted the jug of milk up from under Sam. It poured down his face and all over the front of his body. He began coughing violently as he choked and glared at his little sister.

"You ready for school Frankie?" She turned and smiled satisfyingly.

Frankie nodded her head and grabbed her book bag off the stool next to her as Wyatt walked in.

He was wearing a pair of black Nike sweatpants and a matching hoodie. His white sneakers were laced up intricately and he swung his keys around his fingers as he adjusted his duffle bag that was slung over his shoulder.

Frankie's heart skipped a beat looking at him with his wild, damp hair that was still wet from his shower. It was the first time Wyatt looked like a true athlete this year. She was used to seeing him in sweatpants and t shirts but there was a different light about him now. He seemed focused, excited, and there was more pep in his step.

After picking up Nolan and arriving at school. Maddie held Wyatt back and let the other two get out of the car.

"You know, today would be a perfect day for you to show Frankie your feelings," she urged her brother.

"And what feelings would those be?"

Maddie rolled her eyes.

"Your lovey dovey feelings, dumbass! I know deep deep deep down inside—past your slutty, horny exterior—you have a tiny little human heart. And that heart wants to be with Frankie. Just tell her already. Ask her to be your girlfriend and do what you promised."

"I'll do my best," He replied with a fake smile.

"You'll do more than your best," Maddie smiled as she dug her nails into her brother's shoulder. "I swear to God, Wyatt-"

"Jesus! Okay Maddie," Wyatt winced as he pried her hand off of him. "You know I can't force her to be my girlfriend."

Wyatt grabbed his bags and slammed his car door shut.

He wasn't mad that his sister was pushing him to be in a real relationship with Frankie. He knew he could do that. He wanted to more than he would say.

Wyatt was just anxious about how Frankie would take the proposal of being in a relationship with him. She had already rejected him many times before. He was afraid that a relationship with him wasn't exactly what she was looking for. He didn't know what the hell she was looking for or if she was actually looking for anything.

Wyatt jogged up to Frankie who had almost made it out of the parking lot.

"Francesca, hold on a second," he called to her.

Frankie stopped and looked at him curiously.

"Wyatt, it's almost 7:30, I still have to go to my locker."
