-Pov. Oscar-

As the early morning light gently warmed the sky, Lando and I made our way back to the hotel, the magic of the previous night still lingering between us. The excitement of our midnight adventure was still fresh, but there was something else—an unspoken connection that had deepened during those quiet, intimate moments.

When we reached the hotel room, I noticed a subtle shift in the atmosphere. The playful energy from the night before had given way to a more tender, contemplative mood. Lando’s gaze lingered on me, his expression softer than usual.

“Do you want to talk about last night?” I asked, my voice gentle.

He nodded, taking a step closer. “Yeah, I’d like that.”

We settled on the couch, and he took my hand in his. There was a comfortable silence as we both gathered our thoughts. The room was quiet, the only sound the faint hum of the city outside.

“I’ve been thinking a lot about us,” Lando said, his eyes meeting mine. “About how important it is to find these moments, away from everything, where we can just be ourselves.”

I nodded, feeling a warmth spread through me. “I’ve been thinking the same. Last night felt... different. In a good way. Like we’re not just racing or working—we’re really connecting.”

He smiled, a tender, genuine smile that made my heart skip a beat. “I’m glad you feel that way. Because I’ve realized that these moments are what I cherish most. It’s when I feel closest to you.”

I squeezed his hand, feeling a flutter of anticipation. “Me too. It’s like we’ve found a new way to understand each other.”

Lando’s gaze dropped to my lips, and I felt a shiver of excitement. Slowly, he leaned in, his breath warm against my skin. My heart raced as our lips met in a soft, lingering kiss.

The world seemed to fade away as we lost ourselves in the moment. The kiss was gentle but filled with unspoken emotion—a culmination of the connection we’d been building, both on and off the track.

When we finally pulled back, Lando’s eyes were filled with a mix of affection and relief. “I’ve wanted to do that for a while now,” he confessed, his voice low and heartfelt.

I smiled, my heart swelling with happiness. “I’m glad you did.”

We spent the rest of the morning wrapped in each other’s arms, savoring the closeness and the sense of intimacy that had grown between us. The night had been a turning point, a reminder of the depth of our feelings and the importance of making time for each other.

As the sun climbed higher in the sky, we reluctantly began to prepare to head back to our usual lives. But the memories of the night and the connection we’d deepened were like a promise—a promise of more moments like this, where we could just be together and enjoy the simple, beautiful things in life.

With one last look at the stunning view from the hotel, we made our way to the car, ready to face whatever came next with a renewed sense of optimism and love.
