They all sat down and got themselves comfortable on their seats, which was basically just the floor. Lateo snapped his fingers and the gem on his wrist and glowed before a chair appeared out of nowhere.

Before anyone could say anything, Latea started to explain, "The wristband is a dimensional pocket used for storage. I also have one in the shape of a ring. I don't how he does it but you don't normally just snap your fingers and the object you stored just appears." As if what she said was normal.

"But does he normally carry a chair around?" Rina whispered beside her. Latea nodded her head in response.

Lateo cleared his throat before proceeding to storytelling.

"In years of the first beings, portals were opened to welcome those from afar. And they all lived in harmony." The pinknette paused for a bit before continuing, "Not until the Montreugh."

"Dude, why'd you lead off like that?" Ryan frowned while Lateo ignored his feedback about his storytelling.

"In the blink of an eye, universes were destroyed and populations wiped clean. No one knows why and how it even started. But one thing is for sure, the monsters were rampaging."

"The Montreugh, as they call it, lasted for fourteen years. Fourteen years of destruction and despair. Homes were ruined and many families mourned for those who died."

"Soon, the twelve supreme rulers decided to join their powers to seal away these monsters. In doing so, they were weakened. Their powers were stored in those seals to lock away those creatures."

"The twelve supreme rulers was responsible for different types of beasts. But since there's too many and I don't really want to say all of them, I'll skip that part for now."

"And peace was back, for most of the part."

"Dude literally just said the whole story using stack-knowledge." They all muffled a laugh at Ryan's statement. He was the one who always had good humor.

"Of course I do. I'm a part of the royal court after all." Lateo proudly stated. They all stared blankly at him as he boasted of his position in the royal court.

"But what was the cause of the Montreugh?" Kyla silently inquired under her breath but it was clear as day. "Do you guys know?" She lifted her head and stared questioningly at the two.

Latea shook her head 'no', "Unfortunately, we don't. The royal court has been trying to find the source of all this for years now. Yet there's still no answer."

"But there are additional information found by the royal court through a book passed down by the Supreme Rulers to their descendants."

"Apparently, there is a relic that holds the powers of the Supreme Rulers when they formed the seal. It has been hidden somewhere that is not mentioned in the book, but says there that it is being protected by a spiritual beast tamed by one of the Rulers," The twins said, finishing each other's sentences.

"But these are a few background details that only those in the royal court knows." Latea quickly added, but added one more question stuck to them.

"Then why are you telling us?" Genevieve raised an inquisitive brow at the two siblings. "You're telling this to us knowing that most of us are not from that so called royal court."

"Good question!" The bluenette snapped her fingers, "Why are we telling them again?" She leaned towards her pink-haired twin and whispered.

Lateo opened his mouth to speak, but was interrupted by Genevieve who stared at them in disbelief, "Even you guys don't know?" She scoffed.

"Actually, we have a good reason." Lateo interjected at the young Jones, "A conflict has occurred and we need all possible help we can get," he said with a grim expression.

"The relic has been stolen, yet the spiritual beast was never alarmed and didn't feel any presence nearby when the relic was stolen," The pinknette ran his hand through his hair, letting loose a few strands of pink hair.

And when he just so happens to finish saying that whole sentence, Latea's mouth formed an 'o', "Now I remember!" The girl apparently had very bad memory, "The spiritual beast is highly intelligent and powerful, meaning, if someone was able to steal the relic without being caught, that just means that the thief is someone powerful enough to be able to go against the Supreme Rulers."

"And you guys!" She gestured to them, "Just proved yourselves by surviving this long!"

"And you expect us to take it as is?" Rina glared at the twins.

"Yes!" Latea cheekily smiled.

"It's no use talking to you." The cheerleader gazed away from the bluenette and stared down onto her nails which, surprisingly, was still neat and clean.

"Alright, enough with the chit-chat. We need to get on with the tasks assigned to us."
