"I can't believe I'm going with you guys. I might even consider going with those goons other than with you." She pointed at Niven who rolled his eyes.

"We don't really have that much of a choice, Genevieve." The boy grumbled, "I would have also preferred if you weren't here."

"How dare you!" She turned her head to him with an angered look as they continued to walk through the halls of the third floor. "Anyone would be happy to walk with me!" She flipped her brown locks, swaying her hips as she walked.

"I might actually just prefer Samantha." Niven looked at her through his peripheral vision.

She scoffed, "That crazy woman? She's worse than me." She tsked, crossing her arms under her breasts.

"Oh?" He quirked a brow at her, "I should probably tell her you said that. She is my best friend." The ginger head smirked when she tensed.

"Don't you dare tell her that!" She hissed at him with narrowed eyes glaring at Niven.

"And what if I do?" He dared her and glared back.

"Iㅡ"

"Alright, lovebirds. Enough of that, we've got company." Mr. Lavendia spoke up.

"What company?" I turned my head and saw a huge feline monster staring down at us with hungry eyes.

It bared its sharp fangs with drool sipping through the gaps of its fangs. Spikes adorned it's back that spiked up as it circled around the four of us.

"Another one of those cats?" Genevieve huffed before tossing a chocolate to its mouth.

My mouth gaped. "Did you just feed it chocolate?"

"Uh, duh." He rolled her eyes at me. "Are you blind?" I glared at her and she smirked.

"Why would you even do that?" I asked her. "More importantly, where did you get that chocolate?"

"I thought your classmates picked you as pres, since your smart and reliable? Its a common fact, sweetheart." I felt heat rush to my face at the nickname. "Chocolate is deadly to cats and dogs, even with other animals. Since this one is a monster, it will just weaken it."

A slow clap sounded in the hall. We turned our heads to see the principal clapping slowly with an impressed grin.

"Impressive, Ms. Jones. To think that you used a common fact to find a weakness in a monster." He said, making Genevieve grin.

"Of course, Mr. Black." She proudly exclaimed. "I'm brains and beauty after all."

"Truly worthy of the last name Jones." Mr. Lavendia complimented, "The Jones family sure is talented."

"Yeah, even with brats." I added. She turned her head at me with a death glare. "Just saying." I shrugged.

"We should really focus on the monster now..." Mr. Lavendia reminded us that we weren't alone.

We turned our heads towards the monster who was ready to pounce at us. Its sharp claws scraped the ground leaving scratch marks before pouncing.

"Guards up, everyone!" Mr. Black held onto his chain whip, looking directly at the monster before swinging it and wrapping it around one of the monster's legs.

He pulled the chain with a strong grip, making the monster fly just a few meters away from us.

We watched as his back muscles flexed as he continued to whip his chain after whip. He looked at us from the side of his eyes before gritting out through clenched teeth, "Are you guys just gonna stand there and watch?"

"O-oh! Right." Mr. Lavendia reached for the bow and arrow that hung on his back before aiming for the monster.

He aimed at its neck and let go of the string, the arrow struck the feline as it whined in pain. The Janitor continued to fire arrows after arrows.

I snapped out of my daze and took out a pair of daggers that were given to us awhile ago, courtesy of the principal, and rushed into the fight.

I climbed its back while it was busy with the principal. I was careful not to touch the sharp spikes on the feline's back and barely dodged when its tail almost hit me.

I was almost at its head when it shook its body from side to side.

"W-woah!" I stumbled and gripped onto its fur. I was still slipping so I stabbed the two daggers on its back making it screech in pain.

SCREECH!

It shook its body again, allowing the dagger to stab deep into its flesh as I clung on for dear life.

"Do I really have to help you down?" I could hear Genevieve's voice behind me.

I couldn't see what she was doing, but I could hear that she was taking out her Saber.

In a matter of few seconds I could hear another cry of pain coming from the monster as it stumbled back.

Taking back my daggers I jumped back and took a few steps away from the monster. Just incase it attacks again.

Just as we thought the monster was going to attack again, a roar sounded and the building shook. The feline let out a loud screech of fear before the wall behind it cracked open and the feline was eaten by aㅡ

DRAGON?!

I took a step back in disgust as the guts of the feline showed after the dragon ate its head off.

"Urgh... I think I'm gonna barf." I heard Genevieve gulp beside me.

I turned my head to my side to see her pale face turning green in disgust.

"We need to leave!" Mr. Black tugged the Janitor close to him before running off to the direction of the stairs. "Hurry!"

"I-I can walk!" Mr. Lavendia frowned.

I followed behind them, but Genevieve was not moving. "Are you just gonna wait there and be eaten, Genevieve?!"

No response. I cursed under my breath before rushing towards her and picked her up as if she was a sack of potatoes before running towards the stairs where the principal and janitor was waiting.

"What are you doing?!" Genevieve screamed and tucked her skirt so her ass wouldn't show. Her other hand punched my back multiple times, but I didn't drop her.

"Saving you, isn't it obvious?" I gritted my teeth, Why can't she just be grateful?

"I don't need saving!" She wiggled around on my shoulder before yelping when I slapped her thigh. "H-hey!"

"And what? Have you dying out here?" I scoffed and reached the stairs before dropping her.

When I got a clear view of her face she was as red as a tomato as she frowned in embarrassment.

"Why did you slap my thigh?" She whined as she rubbed her thigh.

"You were misbehaving, that's why." I rolled my eyes at her.

"That's not something you should do!" She glared at me, but I ignored her.

"Alright, lovebirds. You can have your love quarrels when we're somewhere safe." Mr. Lavendia interrupted again.

"Stop calling us lovebirds!" Me and Genevieve said at the same time, but he just shrugged.

"Me and Clark have been talking when you guys were busy awhile ago and we decided that we should still continue the mission. You two go to the east, we'll go to the west. When your done scouting the east side come back here with the survivors you find if you find any. " Mr. Black said nonchalantly as he pulled the poor janitor, not giving us time to protest.

"Great, we're stuck together, again." I grumbled.

"Tell me about it. I'm stuck with a pervert." She huffed before turning to walk away.

"I'm not a pervert!" I yelled.

"Says the person who slaps people's thighs!" She yelled back. I groaned in frustration.

"Fine!" I followed behind her.
