Lateo kicked the corpse of the beast and wiped the blood off his face with a cloth that appeared in thin air at his command. He heard a whistle behind him.

"Damn, you really went all out." Latea snickered behind him as she walked in a care free style. She had her gun over her shoulder with her hair swaying with her movements.

"I can say the same for you, sister." Lateo stared at the decapitated head of a serpents head on her sister's hand. Latea also stared at the decapitated head and grinned at her twin brother.

The pink haired boy just shook his head and snapped his fingers. Glowing particles floated around his right hand and filled the room. Different colored crystals from the different monsters appeared and floated around his hand.

He wielded the crystals with familiarity. The twins felt a familiar presence and soon a portal opened. It was similar to the portal they came out of. Meaning, it was someone from their world.

A man with a gentle look walked out of the portal with a woman who's arm was wrapped around his. She had a beautiful face that held no expression.

"Father, mother." Lateo slightly bowed his head in greeting and respect for the man and woman. They nodded at him in greeting.
Lateo looked over at his sister.

Her usually cheerful appearance was gone and was replaced with elegance and grace she rarely showed, "I greet mother and father." Latea bowed.

The man nodded and held out his hand. Latea putted her hand on top of his hand and the man kissed it in greeting while the woman nodded at her in acknowledgement.

"How have you two been?" The man pulled away and asked. The woman silently watched the interaction between her husband and children.

"We have been good, father. How about you and mother?" Latea smiled as she replied to her father's question. Lateo stood beside his sister.

"We have been good, Liana." Latea flinched for a second before regaining her posture, "And I see you still have your interest in powered gems, Liam."

Lateo sighed, "We'd rather prefer if you call us by our first names, father." He eyed his sister and his sister did the same.

Their father laughed loudly in the gym they were currently in, his voice bouncing off the walls, "As you wish, my child. And if you ever run out of powered gems, just send us a letter. Me and your mother will send a box of powered gems over to you immediately." Lateo nodded in thanks.

"How... are your missions." A gentle and soothing voice asked. It was their mother who spoke this time. Lateo's gaze softened as he looked at his mother. She still has that same voice he loved.

"Still in progress, mother. But our missions are going well so far." Lateo replied and his sister nodded in agreement. "We have met the intended targets and a few more to aid us in this breakthrough." Latea added.

The woman nodded and didn't say anything else. She stayed quiet as the three conversed about the events in the royal court. She was observant of her surroundings and mostly stayed quiet because of that.

With a few more exchanges of words, they bid each other farewell. "Stay safe, our children." The man smiled at them and the woman handed them two handkerchiefs with her embroidery.

"We shall bring you honor, mother." Latea smiled charmingly at the woman and pocketed the handkerchief. Lateo did the same and nodded in farewell. "Stay safe, as well. Mother, father."

With that, the husband and wife stepped back into the portal and it disappeared as they did so. A trail of mist was left from where the portal was at.

The twins stood quietly side-by-side. They didn't speak even with the time passing by. They were just quiet. No one spoke or uttured a word. Not until Latea broke the silence.

"It has been a while since we last saw them." She closed her eyes then opened them again. "They're still the same." She chuckled and so did Lateo.

"You acted like a whole different person." He joked and Latea laughed. "I still can't believe he still calls us by our second names." He shook his head with a smile.

"Just like before..." Latea looked down at the floor. "Mother... She still has that same soothing voice."

There was another moment of silence. Untilㅡ

GROOAAARRRR!!!

There was a roar, shaking the building they were currently inside of right now. Latea's and Lateo's eyes widened after hearing the familiar roar.

With heads turned to each other, they nodded then headed up to the rooftop.

The door was locked, but Latea didn't hesitate to burst it open with her gun. It eminited a blue light and a beam broke down the metal doors. Smoke came out of the spots where the beam shot.

Lateo stared at his twin sister with a blank look. The pink-haired girl looked at him, "What?"

Light-blue orbs stared into cotton-pink eyes. A staring contest occurred between the two young Cadlers. They stared fiercely at each other. Epic. Dramatic. Thrilling

Lateo shifted his gaze away. He freaking looked away.

His twin smirked victoriously and strutted onto the rooftop. And there they saw the magnificent creature flying high in the sky with a bit of blood smudged on the side of its snout, but they didn't bother minding it.

With wings spread in the sky, its golden scales were glimmering in the sun's light. Vermillion red eyes stared down at them as its spiked tail swayed in the air. Ruby like spikes adorned its back giving it a fierce look. A creature of great strength and power.

In short, it was a dragon.

(A/N - Now, was that monologue necessary? No. But did I still do it? Yes. Don't judge me I'm not good in describing shit.)

The twins held their breaths once they were in the presence of the golden dragon. The dragon snorted at the two and was then engulfed in a blinding light.

Lateo and Latea covered their eyes with their hand from the blinding light. Once the light died down they uncovered their eyes and stared at the handsome young man in front of them.

Vermillion eyes stared at the two young Cadlers, he stood tall. He radiated dominance and power, making the twins feel as if they were just specks of dust.

The two kneeled in front of the Golden haired prince with respect and admiration burning in their hearts. "We greet the future sun of the Dragonite Kingdom." They both said in unison.

"Rise." The dragon prince commanded and the two Williams followed his command. They stood tall.

"I was sent to warn you two." The dragon shifted his eyes at the two and paused. "A huge threat is approaching. Father wants you to prepare. Different universes have already been destroyed by the threat and we estimated that after more years to come, the threat will destroy this one as well."

The twins looked into the eyes of the crown prince with shocked expressions. Sweat trickled down their foreheads. "A... threat?"
Latea murmured under her breath.

"I have been sent to assist you two in your missions. And I am quite curious with these new mortals you have acquainted yourselves with." The blonde walked pass them and headed for the stairs. "It's best if we move now than later."

Latea and Lateo followed behind him with grim looks. "Of course, your royal highness."
