"So you're telling me that White Reaper is actually a boy and not a Spirit?" Kotori asked, disbelief in her voice. She looked at Nia with a mix of frustration and incredulity.

"He didn't correct us when we first met him, so it would have been harder for us to find him if we kept thinking he was a girl." Kotori tried to comprehend Nia's explanation who looked at her as if she was stupid.

Kotori's gaze then shifted to Natsumi, who was visibly confused and a bit irked. "This is your fault."

"What did I do?" Natsumi asked, bewildered, while Yoshino gently tried to calm her.

"If you hadn't pulled your pranks on our machines, we might have believed him," Kotori snapped.

An argument quickly ensued between Kotori and Natsumi, their voices rising as they clashed. Tohka stepped in, doing her best to separate the two and prevent things from escalating further.

Kaguya and Yuzuru tried to mediate, but their attempts only turned the situation into a competition over who had contributed more to the chaos.

Miku suddenly froze, her eyes glazing over as if she had just received a traumatic revelation. She looked as though her soul had momentarily left her body, leaving her in a state of shock.

Origami, observing the commotion with an innocent expression, muttered under her breath.

"I wouldn't mind a threesome." Her comment, though intended to be subtle, was overheard by Shido, adding to the already chaotic scene.

Shido sighed deeply, his shoulders slumping as he watched the chaotic scene unfold. He looked on with the weary patience of someone who had seen it all before, a veteran growing tired of the constant upheavals and squabbles.

Accelerator entered the DEM Industries Japan Branch officeroom with a tired, pained grimace, leaning heavily on his cane. The room was a stark contrast to his worn demeanor. Isaac Westcott lounged comfortably in his chair, exuding an air of calm authority. Ellen Mather regarded him with a stern, almost disapproving gaze, as if he were a delinquent student. Meanwhile, Artemisia Bell Ashcroft gave him a polite smile, her expression suggesting the poised demeanor of a student council president.

The two women, dressed in formal suits, gestured for Accelerator to stand in the middle of the room. The atmosphere was charged with an unspoken tension, a mix of expectations and scrutiny hanging in the air.

Accelerator trudged into the room, each step a struggle as he moved with his broken bones. The lack of immediate medical treatment felt like a deliberate part of the punishment, disguised as the urgency of an "emergency meeting." The pain etched across his face spoke volumes about the severity of his condition and the cold, calculated nature of the situation.

Westcott regarded Accelerator with a fatherly expression, his voice dripping with a mock warmth. "Did you enjoy your vacation?"

"Its alright, except for the fact that I was under direct orders from my other superior - who is a total bitch, by the way - ahem - that I am to take  a mandatory leave until such time. I was even bribed. Imagine that." Accelerator's response was laced with sarcasm, his tone flat and disinterested.

Artemisia offered a wry smile, clearly amused by Accelerator's irreverent attitude, while Ellen looked exasperated, her patience visibly wearing thin.

Westcott gave a light chuckle at Accelerator's nonchalant attitude. "Well, I'll cut to the chase," he began, his tone taking on a more serious edge.

"You've been a tremendous asset to us, especially after losing key VIPs. As we prepare for war with Ratatoskr, we need every valuable person we can get. You're well on your way to securing what you wanted—being moved from the Gremlin Team into our main ranks. But before that happens, you'll need to complete a few independent operations. These tasks will not only test your capabilities but also sharpen you for the conflict ahead. It's going to challenge us all—at our very core."
