Garden poem

Let's go in the garden, you'll find something waiting

A memory that you shared, growing into a bloom

I know you'll find it somewhere, that watermelon can

To plant the seeds of your dreams

You won't be alone

The weeds in the garden, sometimes you'll see a flower

The fruits of a hard life and an old boot

Lets look at the stars, this one's orange, and that one's green

See the birds in the trees, and the owl too

You know there's a gem, waiting just for you

Find it at the gardens end, under the moon

You can cast a spell, to sing in your sleep

And on the other side of the world, someone answers you

Sometimes you will get stabbed, with swords and tiny axes

But you will always heal, just like in a cartoon

The garden will grow with you, and your feelings too

Your tears become the dew drops, and your thoughts the veggie stew

Wind the yarn around the fence, and when you wake up in the morning, you'll find there in the garden

The something that's waiting for you

Let's go in the garden, where the trees go winter skating

The flowers and the weeds, co-existing

When I found the special something, turns out I'm the one who's been waiting

Waiting for a sunny day, but the only sunshine I need is you

I'll stay here in the garden, with the butterflies and the bees

Not waiting for anything

Why don't you join us too?
