The wedding day has finally arrived, and for a moment, the world seems to transform into a fairy tale. In my white dress, which reaches the floor and has a delicate train that sparkles like millions of stars in the sunlight, I stand before the church. My heart races with excitement, and I feel as though I could take flight as the wind dances around me. My father stands beside me, his hand firmly linked with mine. The thought of pressing my nails into my palm to release my nervous energy makes me smile. I hate that habit, but today I will suppress it with all my strength. This is not a moment to fear.

My hair is styled just like it was on the day Bucky and I first met. The memory of that evening with Steve makes it feel as if it were just yesterday, even though almost three years have passed. Today, I am marrying the man I met and fell in love with on that very first day. The thought of being by his side forever fills me with a deep satisfaction.

The bells ring ceremoniously above us, and the large doors of the church slowly open. My father gives me one last emotional glance, tears in his eyes, and I can feel his excitement trembling through him. He kisses me gently on the forehead, and we make our way into the church. The aisle we walk down is adorned with beautiful floral arrangements and candles casting a soft light.

Inside the church, I see our family and friends: my mother, Bucky's parents, Rebecca and his three brothers, Steve and Sarah, along with old acquaintances and distant relatives. There are dozens of men in uniform, Bucky's comrades, who have gathered here to honor us. But my gaze searches for only one man—Bucky.

When I spot him at the end of the aisle, all traces of anxiety or fear vanish. Instead, I feel light and clear, as I always do when I'm with him. Tears stream down my face, but in this moment, I don't care if my makeup smudges. I am the happiest person on the planet.

From afar, we smile at each other as my father leads me down the aisle towards the altar. The organ begins to play, its majestic tones filling the room and carrying us into this unforgettable moment. Once we reach the front, my father embraces Bucky and then hands me over to him. I see the tears in Bucky's eyes as we stand facing each other. His gaze, deep and full of love, meets mine.

"Hey Bucky," I say, my voice trembling slightly from the flood of emotions. The corners of my mouth ache from the wide smile that refuses to leave my face.

"Hey Hexe," he replies gently, his eyes shining a radiant blue.

The ceremony begins, and we exchange our vows. Each line we speak is a promise for eternity, a promise to always love and support each other, to stand together through good times and bad, and to never be alone no matter what happens. The moment we share our first kiss as a married couple is overwhelming. The world around us seems to stand still, and all that matters is this one moment. "I will always come back to you, no matter what," Bucky whispers to me as we savor the moment. A shiver runs down my spine. "And I will wait for you, no matter how long it takes."

After the ceremony, a celebration ensues where all the guests come together to celebrate with us. My parents beam with pride, and Bucky's family is filled with joy. Rebecca, who is like a sister to me, holds my hand and we laugh and cry together. Steve and Bucky clown around together like the brothers they are. The bond between our families is palpable, and it feels as though we are one big, happy family. Wait, that's exactly what we are now.

Even Bucky's comrades form a chorus and sing a song to honor us. The celebration is marked by laughter, joy, and unforgettable moments. Bucky and I dance our first dance as a married couple, holding each other close while the world around us blurs. The evening passes in a wonderful haze of love and happiness, and we know this is just the beginning of our life together.

The day ends, but the memories of this wedding will remain in our hearts forever. In this moment, surrounded by family and friends, we feel more connected and happier than ever before. We have made a promise for eternity, and we know we are ready to fulfill that promise with each new day.
