It had been a rare and peaceful morning, a day off from work you had eagerly anticipated. With no work obligations looming, you had planned to catch up on errands, enjoy some quiet time, and perhaps even take a nap, but the serenity was shattered by a phone call from Haru's school and your work, sending a jolt of anxiety through you.
"Hello, mrs.L/n, this is Principal Nakamura i am sure you know me, since you are a teacher at our school, however i'm calling to inform you that Haru your son has been involved in an altercation with another student. We'd like you to come in as soon as possible to discuss the situation"
Your heart skipped a beat.
"An altercation? Is he alright?"
"He's fine physically, but the other student is quite upset. Given the situation, we think it's important to address this promptly. Can you come to the school today?"
You glanced at the clock, noting that you had enough time to handle this before resuming your planned day.
"Yes, i'll be there shortly"
After ending the call, you weighed your options Akaashi came to mind. Although your co-parenting relationship was complex, his presence would likely be beneficial. You dialed his number, hoping he could provide support.
"Hello?"
Akaashi's voice was calm but concerned.
"It's me. Haru's been in a fight at school. The teachers have asked me to come in. Could you come with me? I could really use your support."
