Y/n's POV
I stood at the airport gate with my mother and son, Haru, as we finally set foot on Japanese soil again. It had been five longer years since i'd last stood here, five years since i left Japan for the United states. I remembered the day i left Like it was yesterday. It was right after the breakup with Akaashi's, and the only person who knew about my move was Bokuto, before he accidentally spilled the news to Akaashi.
I took a deep breath, feeling the cool breeze brush past me. It felt surreal, standing here again, but there was a certain comfort to it, too. This was home.
"Y/N!"
I recognized that voice immediately. I glanced ahead to see a tall, muscular man with spiky gray-dyed hair.
"HEY!HEY!HEY!"
A smile spread across my face.
"Bo"
I called out, raising my hand to wave.
Before i could even move, Haru shot past me, sprinting toward Bokuto.
"Uncle Bokuto!"
"Hey!hey!hey! Buddy!"
They embraced tightly, Bokuto lifting Haru off the ground in a playful squeeze, while Haru's small arms wrapped around him as best he could.
