The silence after Haru's broken question felt suffocating. You stood there, frozen, unable to breath, as the air between you and your son grew heavy with tension and confusion. Haru's small face twisted in disbelief, his world crumbling before your eyes. The truth you had feared would one day come to light had shattered everything, and you could already feel the weight of the fallout pressing on your chest.

Akaashi stood motionless beside you, his usually calm composure nowhere to be found. His eyes were locked on Haru, And the vulnerability he rarely showed was now laid bare. You watched as his hands trembled by his sides. A silent indicator of the guilt he had tried to keep burried for so long. He opened his mouth to speak, to explain, but no words came. Nothing could make this better. Nothing could take back the years of silence.

The first crack in Haru's composure was a single tear sliding down his cheek. It was followed by a strangled sob as his small fists balled at his sides. He stared at Akaashi with a mix of confusion and betrayal, His chest heaving.

"You're my dad?"

His voice trembled, thick with pain and disbelief. But before Akaashi could even begin to answer, Haru's expression shifted.. Twisting into something darker. Anger sparked in his eyes, far deeper than what a five-year-old should carry.

"You lied to me!"

Akaashi's face drained of color, his voice barely above a whisper as he took a tentative step toward Haru.
