You and Akaashi were walking toward Bokuto, who was watching Haru talking to his teammates when he spotted the two of you heading in his direction. As soon as you stopped in front of him, Bokuto squinted, switching his gaze between you and Akaashi.
"Wait a sec, did you guys cry?"
Bokuto asked, his usual energy peeking through his confusion.
Both you and Akaashi shot him a glare sharp enough to cut steel, and Bokuto backed off immediately, raising his hands in surrender.
"Okay, okay! Don't bite my head off! Geez, the both of you are a little scary"
Bokuto muttered, though a playful smirk tugged at his lips.
Before you could respond, a small voice broke through the awkward tension.
"Old man!"
