Me (Author): Here's a fun fact that I forgot to mention in the beginning of the whole story, Forgive me for that one. David has the same situation with his voice similar to when Shigaraki's voice was all raspy. People don't judge it, However, due to it being hell and a lot of people having weird voices.
However, There are times where his voice would sound mature. And those moments are when he's either singing, in his rage mode, Screaming, or when he's extremely angry.
It all started when his father died and it will actually end at a certain point of the "Ancient Corruption Arc."
Also,When that happens, His Mindset will actually change a bit due to the fact that he ends up getting to hear the answer that he always needed to hear.
