She's breathless, giddy. Bubbling over in a way that feels like she's had several more drinks than she has this early into the night. The sight of him before her, crowd all around, as he sang her own song at her from across the room is not one that will ever leave her. The cheers of their friends rising above the din of the crowd, the only other sound she hears aside from his words.

So why can't you see, are you in love with me?

Later, as they move away from Andrew and Mari at the front of the stage, she grips harder around Travis's bicep, tugging at the hem of his sleeve. She's scanning the dimly lit club, looking for any quiet corner. She needs a moment to breathe, to look at him, to just take this all in.

Drew catches her eye, noticing her scanning the room, and she mouths, "Quiet," hoping he understands as the bass kicks back in on the Chainsmokers' next set. He points towards a door to the side she's missed and she pulls Travis by the arm towards it.

He looks down at her questioningly, "Tay?"

"Just come with me for a second," she asks.

He nods as they duck in through the door with Nate and Drew flanking it. The room looks to be a staging room for the bar staff, and as the door closes, she can finally hear the quiet she's been craving. She knows they don't have long and besides she wants to get back to celebrating Travis and the team, but she needs a moment here with him.

Taylor steps forward and pulls him close, her fingers brushing the edge of his jaw as she kisses him softly. Like he's something precious—because he is. Her big, strong man is so precious to her because no one has ever loved her the way he does.

As they pull away, he runs his hand up her side, finger tracing the ladder design of her top, fingertips meeting bare skin, causing her to shiver and tuck herself even closer to him.

He puts his lips to her temple and murmurs, "Most romantic thing that has ever happened to you? Really?"

She flushes and looks down, nodding.

"It is, Trav. It...no one has ever seen me the way you do. All of me."

"Of course I see you, Tay," he replies matter of factly. "You're the brightest thing in my orbit."

She knows he means it. In the eight months she's known him, Travis has never once said anything he doesn't mean when he's being serious. And it's not just because of who she is. He just won the game of his life and all he's done since has look at her like she's the trophy.

Pulling his head down to meet hers, she runs her hand up the back of his neck and breathes, "You're mine too, you know that right? Seeing you out there, Trav...watching you on the field, having you sing to me, holding my hand through it all. Baby, you are electric."

He smiles and leans in. Their lips meet in a slow kiss—sweet at first, then deepening as if neither wants the moment to end. His hand cups her cheek, grounding them both in the intensity of it.

Once they pull back, he tucks his face into the curve of her neck, murmuring, "God, I just want to stay in here with you."

A hand slides into her back pocket with his words and she smiles.

"Mmm, we'd end up on TMZ if we stayed in here," she points out. "Or worse, ESPN."

"Worth it," he jokes.

She laughs and shakes his shoulders in mock disapproval. "You know you want to be out there with the guys celebrating too," she challenges knowingly. "It's your big night. And don't worry, I'm going home with you at the end of it all."
