It was then time to go home, as he drove to the shop.
"What's up, Jard?" Galf greeted, throwing his cigarette in the trash can.
Jard didn't answer. Galf looked at Jard organize the shelves, placing the artifacts back where they should be.
Because of Jard's traveling skills, he's become an inter-dimensional navigator, in search of rare artifacts and exotic materials, retrieving the materials before the professionals.
"You're going to the Crossroads map today." Galf fiddled with some buttons to open up a portal.
Jard nodded, as he packed some colas in his pocket. He stepped in the portal, meeting some survivors in the middle of the map, ready to collect the artifact. But luckily, Jard had serious survival skills.
Nextbots, the last thing that he would date, rushed out of the forest, ready to protect the artifact.
"YIPPEEEEEE!" the Yippee TBH creature downed a survivor immediately. Jard rushed up the ramp up to the hill, placing barriers to block the entrance.
He positioned himself near the edge of the hill, ready to jump off if the nextbots came.
He waited for a whole 3 minutes, as the session ended. He saw lots of dead bodies on the floor, and a faint light on the pedestal. That meant the material was going to appear soon, maybe after 2 sessions.
The Baller and the Among Us nextbot came, downing the people who were messing with their spawn point.
Jard never helped downed people, the artifact was all to himself. As soon as the 2 sessions were over, he snatched the material, then called Galf on the radio.
Galf didn't seem to answer back, he must be busy.
The Elysium Corporation seemed to have come early today, almost the whole group there.
"Well, hello, Jard," the leader of the Elysium Corporation smirked. He snapped his fingers, ordering the soldiers to load their pistols and point it at Jard. "I'm surprised by your navigational skills. You could come work for us, you know, to stay out of debt."
That was a hard deal to compromise with, but he couldn't work with those monsters anymore. It was a life or death situation if he worked there. He wouldn't forgive those animals for shooting...
Rose.
