Jard and Bobo packed their backpacks. Today was the day when they went to the rebellion's base. "Good luck." Rose gave a sligh kiss on Jard's cheek.
Jard blushed hardly, as Rose pulled back.
Bobo gripped Jard's hand and stepped through the portal. "Bye, Jard. Good luck." she whispered.
Jard and Bobo hid behind a bush, away from the group. Jard radioed everyone else. "We're ready." he said. ""Copy that." Oliver replied back. A portal opened, as soldiers stepped through.
Jard and Bobo placed a mine in the sand, as they ran away. "Hey...what are you doing here?" someone said from behind them. Jard looked, and it was a rebel. They wore a black cap, along with a black military suit. There was a red fabric tied around their arm, as he held a pistol.
They grabbed Jard by the neck. "This area is strictly forbidden...unless you have to do something with Atomic Innovations?!" they growled. Bobo hid behind the bush, then looked over at Jard.
"Jard!!" Bobo cried. Hetripped, as another rebel captured him. They pulled out a mine from Jard's pocket.
"I knew it," they growled. "They're working with Atomic Innovations! Lock them up!" They carried them.
Bobo squirmed, and bit their arm. "This one is so aggressive!!" they shouted, ignoring the pain in their arm.
They threw Jard and Bobo in a room together, but Bobo wouldn't let go. He held his teeth inside the rebel's flesh. The rebel punched his face, as Bobo flew.
"Bobo!!" Jard patted Bobo's back. Bobo was sobbing, from all the pain and failure. Bobo cuddled with Jard. "We failed!!" Bobo continued crying. Jard felt a stray tear fall down. "We didn't fail." he whispered. A rebel came, then unlocked their cell.
"W-what...?" Jard looked at him. "Shh. Follow me." he said. Jard nodded, this rebel was helping them!!
"DEFECT!!" someone shouted from behind. Defect looked behind him, and so did Jard. There was someone wearing green armor, holding an AK-47. "Come on, let's go outside." they said, as Jard and Bobo followed them.
They seemed to be trusted. "Sorry I didn't introduce myself back there. I'm Defected rebel, but call me Defect for short." Defect saluted. The guy in the green armor waved. "I'm Trooper!! : D" Trooper waved.
"I'm Jard, and this is Bobo!!" Jard held Bobo's hand, as they continued running. They then reached outside, spotting the rebels falling.
"Jard!!" Rose came from behind a tent. She hugged him. Jard put his hat back in place, as they stepped through the portal. "The mission was successful this time. We managed to take down half the rebels, and only lost 4 soldiers!!" Rose said.
Jard nodded.
Rose led them to the room where they would be resting. "Have a break!!" Jard and Bobo nodded, as they flopped down onto their beds. "I call this side!!" Bobo exclaimed. He fluffed up his pillow, and went under the blanket.
"Heh. Then I call the bed next to yours." Jard laid down. It wasn't very soon until Bobo fell asleep, as his breathing became quiet. His snores were quiet.
Jard looked at Bobo, then kissed his forehead. He took off Bobo's visor and placed it on the drawer. Jard headed outside to train more, as it soon turned dark.
Jard came from the training room, and laid on his bed. He closed the lights, closing his eyes, soon falling into his slumber.
