Chris was on his break and he was on his way to see Carla at NXT. He was very nervous since the whole Brianna hook up he was hoping that word somehow didn't get back to Carla. If he did he couldn't imagine how mad and hurt she would be that her best friend since day one hooked up with her best friend.
He wished that he had more resistance to Briannas desires. But it was Cora Jade who wouldn't want to hook up with her. He did have fun which was the worst part of it. But it was still wrong and he wished that it never happened. And if Carla found out it would not only probably force them to split but it would also destroy Carla and Briannas friendship.
Chris places both of his hands on his car wheel gripping it tightly as he starts to breathe heavily out of anxiety. But he quickly turns on a song to call him down and it works. He didn't want to have a panic attack on the highway. He hums along to the song as he takes the exit that was on the way to the venue NXT was taking place.
Despite him being nervous he was excited for two reasons one of them being that Phil was going to be there because he had a announcement for Chicago when NXT makes it's debut on CW. He was to hear what it was but Phil also let him in on the secret of him having a promo with Carla. And that was huge for Carla. Her being able to share the ring for the first time with her hero and teacher was huge for her young career. He couldn't wait to see how that promo goes.
Chris pulls his car into the parking lot outside of the arena before closing the door as he makes his way into the arena. Once he enters he sees Matrick standing their chilling.
"Trick Willy the number 1 contender huh?" Chris says.
"Oh you know it Jerome whats up brother?" Matrick says dapping him up.
"Oh nothing I'm just visiting." Chris says.
"Well your always welcome." Matrick says.
"What's on the table for you tonight?" Chris asks.
"I'm about to whoop Ethan Page's ass." Matrick says smiling.
"My man well I'll leave you too it." Chris says.
"Thanks man it was nice seeing you." Matrick says.
"Right on." Chris says.
They both dap eachother up one more time before Chris walks as he looks for Carla. But as he is walking he bumps into someone the someone being the newcomer Giulia who's real name was Eimi who was Carla's next challenger.
"Oh sorry about that." Chris says.
Eimi smiles as she chuckles.
"Your good. Your Chris HickenBottom right? Shawn Micheals son?" Eimi asks.
Chris smiles as he reaches his hand out to shake.
"That I am and your Giulia right?" Chris asks.
"Yup just call me Eimi though." Eimi says shaking his hand.
"Noted. How are you liking it here in NXT so far hopefully everyone has been kind and nice to you." Chris says.
They both let go over eachothers hands as they share a smile.
"Oh it's been amazing I am very happy to be here." Eimi says.
"Awesome I'm excited to see you perform for the coming years." Chris says.
"Thanks Chris. Though I am kind of suprised you yourself don't wrestle. Why is that?" Eimi asks.
Chris lets out a chuckle rubbing the back of his neck.
"Thats a long story for another time." Chris says.
Eimi chuckles as she pats him on the shoulder.
"Well I'm looking forward to hearing I need to go now. It was nice meeting you." Eimi says.
