Carla and Chris were currently on the way to the airport. They were going to meet up with Brianna and friends to celebrate a wedding that one of Carla's friends were having.
"Where are we meeting everyone again?" Chris asks.
"New Jersey." Carla says.
"I've never been down there before." Chris says.
"I have you'll love it, even though you aren't a big city person." Carla says.
"I'll survive." Chris says.
They both share a smile before Chris turns his attention back to the road before pulling into the parking lot of the airport in Orlando.
Chris opens the door for Carla as she steps out before they both grab their suitcases and backpacks for their extended stay in New Jersey.
NXT was in Philadelphia in the old ECW arena for a special showcase. So they brought a decent amount of things with them for their mini field trip.
As they are walking Chris looks over at her just admiring her natural beauty she had no make up on not seeing the need since they were traveling the whole day.
Carla catches him staring before smiling back.
"What are you staring at?" Carla asks giggling.
"You look cute with glasses." Chris says.
Carla smiles as she hooks their arms together.
"Maybe I should wear them more." Carla says.
"I wouldn't be opposed to that." Chris says.
Carla leans her head on his shoulder as they get their plane tickets before walking to the gate that their plane was at. They had a little bit until their flight left but they just relaxed they didn't want a repeat of last time.
Chris leans leans his head on her shoulder as he looks at her phone. She was looking at the Crown Jewel match card specifically the Women's Crown Jewel Championship match between Liv Morgan and Nia Jax.
"That could be you one day." Chris says kissing her cheek.
"Not could, WILL." Carla says smiling at him.
Chris smiles back before pulling her into a kiss.
Carla kisses back placing one of her hands on his cheek.
The passangers are eventually called the to the front. After showing the flight attendant their tickets they board the plane.
Chris grabs both of their backpacks before settling in next to Carla.
"Which one of your friends are getting married?" Chris asks.
"Amanda but you probably know her as Mandy Rose. You brought formal clothing right?" Carla asks.
"Of course I did I'm always prepared don't forget." Chris says.
Carla smiles and rests her head on his shoulder grabbing of his hands with her own interlocking their fingers.
"Good, I can't wait to see how you look in those kind of clothes." Carla says.
"You have seen me in them before." Chris says chuckling.
"You weren't sexy back then." Carla says.
Chris laughs as they share a smile before the loudspeaker sounds as the plane begins it's ascent into the clouds on the way to New Jersey. Chris rests his head on hers as they both close their eyes killing time until they arrive at their destination.
