Chris rubs his sleepy eyes as the sun shines through the one window in the hotel room. He hears light snoring to his side as he sees Carla hugging his side. He smiles as he kisses her cheek.
"Wake up baby we need to get on the road." Chris says.
Carla groans as she tucks her head into his neck.
"No I'm tired.'' Carla says.
Chris chuckles before throwing the covers off the both of them.
"Oh come on." Carla says with a sleepy voice.
Chris smiles as he sits up in the bed stretching.
Carla sees his muscles stretch as she smiles.
"Your so ripped." Carla says running her hand along his arm.
"Thanks now get up I'm gonna take a shower real quick." Chris says.
"I'll only get up if I can join you." Carla says smirking.
"Damn are you still not satisfied from last night?" Chris asks.
"Nope not one bit." Carla says.
Chris chuckles before scooping her up in his arms carrying her bridal style.
"We can't take too long though." Chris says.
The two enter the bathroom as they take a "shower" together.
...
"What do you want to eat?" Chris asks as he watches the road.
"I'm feeling fast food." Carla says.
"Does KFC work?" Chris asks.
"Yup let's do it." Carla says.
Chris smiles as he hits the exit on the highway as he drives towards KFC. Once they make it to the drive through they both order their meals. Once they get them Chris pulls into a parking spot as they start to eat.
"Alright so we left at 10 am and it's 5 pm now and we got about seven more hours until we make it to Orlando." Chris says as he takes a sip from his lemonade.
"Thats not bad that's about the sametime we went to bed last night." Carla says taking a bite out of her drumstick
"I don't know about that we went at it for a little bit." Chris says setting his phone in the side pocket of the door.
"A little bit is a understatement." Carla says.
"True." Chris says chuckling.
The two exchange small talk as they finish their meals.
"That was amazing." Carla says with a singing voice.
"True statement." Chris says grabbing both their bags before putting them in the back.
Chris turns the car back on as he pulls out of the parking lot before getting back on the road. They would be off the highway for a little bit so they were going to be going through some back roads.
Carla sees Chris yawn as she takes his hand into her own.
"You look tired do you want me to take over?" Carla asks.
"Hm? Oh no I'm good you get some rest you look tired too." Chris says squeezing her hand back.
Carla smiles as she kisses the top of his hand.
