Jerome Micheals was currently backstage sitting on his phone. He is approached by Sarah the main reporter here in NXT.
"Jerome mind if I get a word with you?" Sarah asks.
"Not at all what's up?" Jerome asks.
"We saw last weekend in Philadelphia you get hit with a Trick Shot from the NXT Mens Champion Trick Williams by accident. What are your-." Sarah says before getting cut off by Jerome.
"It wasn't on accident Sarah it was on purpose." Jerome says.
Sarah bites her lip not very happy about getting cut off but she continues with her question.
"What are your thoughts on Ridge Holland getting the pin on the champion?" Sarah asks.
"My thoughts are that him getting the pin is irrelevant you want to know why? I have my iron survivor qualifying match tonight against Wes Lee. And after I beat him I am going to join my fellow Prodigy Roxanne Perez by winning the iron survivor challenge. Then I will take the belt off that so called Champion Trick Williams and become your NEW Men's NXT Champion." Jerome says.
"Speaking of Roxanne her friend Cora Jade hasn't been very fond of you lately. What do you think you did to set her off?" Sarah asks.
Jerome shrugs crossing his arms.
"I'm not sure to be honest with you. There is not two but now three things guaranteed in life. Death, taxes, and Cora Jade hating Jerome Micheals." Jerome says chuckling.
On que Cora walks into the shot crossing her arms as her match was set to take place next. She was facing Sol Ruca kicking off the Women's qualifying matches for the Iron Survivor Challenge.
"I heard my name over here if you have something to say to me say it to my face." Cora says staring a hole through Jerome.
Jerome smirks as he walks closer to her.
"I would actually like to talk to Roxy so she can give me some tips since she is a former Iron Survivor winner." Jerome says.
Cora smirks before responding.
"Roxanne isn't here I told her to take the night off." Cora says.
"What gives you the right to tell Roxanne what to do?" Jerome asks.
"I'm looking out for her everyone on the women's division is after her title. She needs to regroup and stay away from you." Cora says poking his chest.
Jerome chuckles before moving her finger away from his chest.
"Don't touch me." Cora says.
"Look Cora I think we got off on the wrong foot." Jerome says.
"You think?" Cora asks rolling her eyes.
"Yeah I do, I don't have a problem with you Cora but for some reason you just can't seem to stand me. And I think I know why." Jerome says.
Cora tilts her head as she raises her eyebrows.
"I'm listening." Cora says.
"I think you are jealous." Jerome says smirking.
"How am I jealous?" Cora asks.
"Simple Roxanne is giving me more attention then she is giving her best friend. I think she has a thing for me." Jerome says.
Cora rolls her eyes before chuckling.
"You are delusional Micheals let me help me get you to reality. The only thing that she has a thing for is her Championship and you are getting in the way of her focusing on her baby. And I don't even know why you think that you are her type. She likes winners and since you have debuted you haven't won. A. Single. Match." Cora says smirking.
