Chris, Carla, and Brianna are currently on the way to Tampa for a NXT Live Event. They just got finished wrapping up a live event at Dade City where all three of them competed.
Jerome was able to defeat Je'von Evans in a very competitive match giving the small crowd in attendance a show. They were set to run it back again in Tampa. The matches during this live events didn't really matter they were just meant to put on a show for the audience and everyone in NXT does a very good job at doing so.
Roxanne and Cora weren't able to beat Lola Vice and Giulia with Cora taking the pin. She heard about it a lot from Jerome backstage almost going as far too smacking him in the face but Roxanne was able to step in between the two new enemies calming down the situation before it could escalate.
They both can't stand eachother. Well it was mostly Cora she just couldn't seem to stand Jerome and he didn't know why. She could tell that Jerome enjoyed annoying her and that only made her hatred for him elevate even more.
"I like doing this little house shows it's a nice environment." Chris says as he keeps his eyes on the road turning down the street to the arena.
"Same it's just a good time and doesn't involve as much nerves as a normal NXT show does." Carla says.
Brianna taps away on her phone texting with Vincent just checking in on her man.
"You have a match tonight right?" Carla asks Brianna looking over her shoulder.
"Yup against Zena... whoever that is." Brianna says chuckling.
"I'll be out there to support." Carla says smiling.
"Sounds good as long as Jerome isn't out there." Brianna says raising her eyebrows at Chris.
Chris looks at the mirror smirking.
"No promises." Chris says.
They all share a laugh before Chris evetually pulls into the parking lot before the three of them get out of the car. They grab their bags before walking into the building.
"I'm gonna go get ready for my match and use the restroom I'll catch you guys in a little bit." Chris says.
"Don't fall in the toilet." Carla says winking at him.
Chris smiles at her before kissing her. The three of them go their seperate ways as Chris walks into the locker room washing his face with water before getting his ring gear on.
With live events it was a very free place to do whatever you want there wasn't any storyline developments taking place during them. The live events were just for pure entertainment.
Chris finishes up in the locker room before walking out of the locker room towards the mini Gorilla in the small arena. He sees Carla and Brianna getting ready to make their entrance together for Briannas solo match.
"Hey guys." Chris says.
"Hey baby." Carla says bringing him into a hug.
Chris hugs her back kissing her cheek rubbing his hand on her back.
Carla melts into his touch smiling ear to ear. She just loved being in his arms, the warmth that always radiated off his body just made her feel some type of way.
They both pull away from the hug as Brianna smiles at them.
"For the hundredth time you both are so cute." Brianna says.
Carla and Chris both smile before Cora Jades music starts playing.
"Thats my que let's go Carla." Brianna says walking through the curtains.
