Homecoming
Chris and Carla were currently waiting in the airport to get on the plane back to Orlando. The hurricanes have finally left the Florida area and NXT was tomorrow so they both got up early to catch a early flight to get back at a good time. Carla's parents were also going to meet them there with Wyatt who was with them during the hurricane days. Carla and Chris couldn't wait to see them again.
"I'm kind of nervous to see our house after what happened." Carla says.
"I get that. But I have full confidence that the house is still in somewhat good shape." Chris says.
Carla nods as she rests her head on his shoulder.
"I hope so." Carla says.
Chris grabs her hand kissing the top of her head.
"Are your parents going to be there still?" Chris asks.
Carla nods as she smiles.
"Yup and so will Wyatt I have missed our little pup so much." Carla says.
"So have I." Chris says before looking down at their interlocked hands on his lap.
Carla notices the conflicted expression on his face. She moves her other hand to his face before moving his head so they are looking eachother in the eyes.
"What's on your mind?" Carla asks.
"Since we are seeing your parents for the first time since we have gotten together do you think we should tell them?" Chris asks.
Carla bites her lip as she thinks about his question.
Since they have gotten together they have kept their relationship a very well kept secret. Well other then the times were people caught them kissing in public but they couldn't help it. But not even their own families knew about their relationship. It was eating away at them keeping something this big and special from the most important groups of people in their lives.
It just didn't feel right.
"I don't know but if the time feels right we should." Carla says.
Chris nods and kisses her before pulling away and kissing her forehead.
"I agree." Chris says.
Carla smiles before she goes to kiss him back but is interrupted by an announcement.
"Plane thirteen is ready for boarding."
Carla pulls away before letting go of his hand and grabbing her ticket next to her. She picks up her backpack before getting up.
"Come on I'm ready to get home." Carla says.
Chris smiles before also getting up with his backpack as well.
"Lead the way." Chris says.
They both grab eachothers hands as they join the line. They give the flight attendant their tickets before boarding the plane.
Chris once they reach their seats puts his and Carla's backpacks in the space above them.
"Thanks baby." Carla says.
Chris smiles and nods before sitting next to her. The plane evetually takes off as Carla looks out the window as the city of St. Louis fades behind the clouds.
"This week was so fun thank you for everything." Carla says.
"Of course my Prodigy." Chris says.
Carla smiles before pulling him into a kiss.
