There you are!" Fay exclaimed as I walked through the doors of Moonmore.

All of our friends were sitting together, including Adrian who was somewhat sitting next to Wesley. Maybe this would be okay.

"Yeah sorry, I got up early to train with Jacob."

"It's just now time for breakfast. How early did you wake up?"

I didn't respond."

Zena sat up straight. "You did sleep right?"

"Of course I did," I said, rolling my eyes.

"Dude, we've known you for years. We can tell when you're lying," George explained.

"Okay fine. I couldn't sleep and Jacob was already down at the field so I thought we'd have an early start."

"It's been three days and you've barely slept let alone eaten," Zena looked at me.

"Yeah! When Berri woke us up this morning he said there's going to be waffles. Waffles! You love waffles," Ethan hollered jumping out of his seat.

"We only have two more days before we leave. I need to train more."

Adrian got up to stand next to me. "You've been training non-stop. There's only so much you can do. We don't know what it's going to be like on the island. Being prepared is good but this mission won't mean anything if you die of exhaustion before we leave."

"Alora we've barely seen you. Plus Zena and I had an idea-"

"Well technically it was Willa's idea I just helped," Zena explained, pushing her glasses up the bridge of her nose.

"Thank you Z, we thought maybe we could all hang out in the library and play some board games. Adrian's already agreed to join us and teaching him will be fun!"

"You've never played board games?"

"Well I have, just not human board games."

"Interesting but-"

Jacob walked through the front doors and walked right past us.

"Hey, where are you going?"

"We're done for the day. You should relax with your friends."

"But-"

"No buts Alora. I've already talked to the Collective and everyone agrees that you need to rest. So play board games with your friends, and remember to teach Adrian Monopoly. I think that'll be interesting."

"Fine."

"I'll have Berri send your breakfast to Steelmore," Jacob waved leaving the room.

We all walked over to Steelmore where there was an entire closet filled with board games. It looked a lot like Rosemore but darker and a touch smaller. Rosemore has more glass and crystal but Steelmore has more stone.

"Should we do Monopoly first?" Adrian suggested. "I'm curious why Jacob had that look on his face when he said it would be interesting."

"Sure, I'll go grab it," Wesley walked out of the room and the rest of us took a seat on the ground.

"It is a right of passage to sit on the ground the first time you play Monopoly," I explained. Without hesitation, Adrian took a seat next to me.

Wesley walked back carrying the nostalgic box and sat it in the middle of the circle.

"Who wants to be the bank?"

Ethan's hand shot straight into the air.

"Ethan it is."
