After what happened yesterday I couldn't let my mind go and only focus on training. I was worried the whole time that someone I loved was standing a few feet too close. I could barely keep my eyes open, and when I could the sphere in front of me was incredibly small. I couldn't catch my breath. It felt like I was in a three-by-three room and the walls were caving in. Jacob could tell my head wasn't in training. After another failed attempt to throw water at a tree, I collapsed to the ground. Jacob of course came rushing over.

"Are you okay?"

"I'm fine."

My breaths were so deep I could see my chest rising and falling, but I didn't feel any better.

"You did well today. Why don't you take the rest of the day to relax and get your strength back?"

"Thanks."

I stood up and brushed the grass off my legs. I started walking back toward Moonmore to find my friends.

"Maybe find Adrian? I think seeing that he's okay could help you."

"I'll do that. Thank you for being patient with me."

"I understand it takes time, and we are asking a lot from you."

I sighed and continued walking.

When I made it to Moonmore I found all of my friends in the library. They were huddled around a group of books sprawled out on a table.

"What's all this?"

"We're trying to figure out what to expect on the assignment," Willa answered.

No one had looked up at me yet but when Zena did she had a worried expression on her face.

"Alora are you okay, you look like you're about to faint."

"Yeah, you look pale," Wesley agreed.

"Honestly, if I answered that honestly, I would get myself sent back to New York." "Why? What's the matter?" Adrian asked, inching closer to me.

"I am just so tired of my whole life."

"Are we supposed to know what that means?" Ethan asked.

"No, I suppose not."

"What do you mean?" asked Fay.

"Just a few months ago I was happy and helping my mom plan her wedding and that's all I was doing and now... now I'm in this whole thing, I find out I'm a freaking elf, I see you guys again," I start, pointing to my friends. "Going back to that damn beach, meanwhile we're in a damn Elvin world if you haven't noticed, I'm trying to come up with this plan that will solve all our problems and keep you guys safe. All while trying to get this power I didn't know I had under control and having to save the realm at the same time, so no guys I'm not okay," I finished entirely out of breath. I start to walk out of the room.

"Okay. Who's going after her?" I hear George ask.

"I will," Adrian and Wesley volunteer at the same time.

"Yeah, no," Zena says. "We're going after her," she finishes while pointing to herself, Willa, and Fay.

Zena, Willa, and Fay quickly catch up to me. They have always been able to tell when I'm overwhelmed, so instead of bombarding me with questions Willa and Zena each took one of my arms and Fay took Zena's. We walked in silence back to Rosemore. When we made it we all flopped down on the nearest couch.

"I've been meaning to ask," Fay started. "What's that on your wrist?" she pointed to my present from Adrian.

"A gift from Adrian. It says 'believe in who you are' across the middle."
