Wesley," I said.

"Hey you look nice," he replied.

"Thank you. So are we all ready to go?"

"I am," George replied. "Whose car are we taking?"

"We can take mine," I offered.

"Woah Alora, since when do you have a Porsche Cayenne!?" asked Ethan.

"Oh well, my old car broke down so Mom and Henry got it for me as an early graduation present."

"Brilliant," George and Ethan respond in unison.

"It might be a tight squeeze since there are seven of us unless two people want to sit in the trunk?" I asked.

"The trunk?" Fay asked.

"Yeah, it's a hatchback so the trunk is connected to the rest of the car."

"I volunteer," Ethan and Willa said.

We all piled into the sleek black SUV. Zena sat in the front passenger seat; Wesley, George, and Fay in the back seat, Willa and Ethan in the trunk, and myself in the driver's seat.

"Okay so having you guys in the trunk is technically illegal so try to duck down some please," I said.

"Wow, never have I heard someone say please when breaking the law," Wesley said.

"I agree," George said.

We all laughed.

The drive to the pub was not too bad as there was not a lot of traffic. We made our way inside and got a booth. Our seats were right next to the humongous dance floor in the middle of the building. There was a disco ball, lasers, blazing music, and strobe lights flashing multiple different colors. Not to mention what looked like one hundred people easily all dancing shoulder-to-shoulder.

After a few minutes, our waiter came over and took our drink orders. I didn't feel like drinking so I just got a soda with orange juice in it and a plate of curly fries for the table.

I had just taken a sip of my drink when House of Memories by Imagine Dragons started playing.

"Oh my gosh, I love this song!" Willa hollered trying to make her voice heard over the music. "Let's go dance!"

"I don't feel like dancing," I tried explaining.

"Oh come on! You know you want to!" Zena said, pulling at my arm.

Fay took my drink out of my hand and sat it on the table.

"Yeah Alora, you should go dance. We can hold the booth," Wesley offered.

"Fine," I finally agreed.

"YAY!" Willa exclaimed, dragging me away from the table and the boys.

At first, I just stood there unsure of what to do but I did like the song so eventually, my body started doing something. I am not sure you could call what I was doing dancing but I cannot think of another way to describe it.

The music was blasting and the lights were going crazy. We were all dancing along with the music and the crowd that had formed around us. I was mid-hair flip when I met Wesley's eyes. There was nothing but affection in his eyes. I stopped and started blushing even though I tried to fight it. My smile fell, my cheeks started getting warm, and my heart started beating faster. I felt like I could not breathe and memories from the beach and the days following flashed through my head. Would it always be like this? Could I not just look at him without that constant reminder? Zena saw me stop and got closer to me.
