Naomi saw Chris making his way back to their group after about twenty minutes.

"Hey," she said softly once he was close enough to hear.

"Hey," he used the same soft tone.

Then, he started 'dancing' along with the group as if nothing happened.

It was a bit awkward at first, but all of them eventually loosened up when The Spins started blasting through the house.

"Our song!" Estelle and Naomi yelled at each other at the exact same time, before starting to sing along.

The triplets loved their energy and did their best to match it, but there wasn't much rhythm to be found in their bones.

They vibed along to a couple of other songs before deciding that their drinks needed a refill.

"Naomi and I will do that. You guys can stay here," Chris told the others.

The duo walked over to the drinks table, and right at the moment Naomi was making Estelle and herself another pornstar martini, Unforgettable started playing.

They looked at each other with wide eyes and a smile.

"Our song!" Naomi yelled, which made the boy smile even more.

They both started singing along while continuing to refill the others' drinks.

Then, a random girl came to join them at the table. She was wearing high heels, and Naomi noticed they looked suspiciously much like Louboutins.

The girl looked at the two others with her chin up.

"You guys are so.. cute," she said the last word in a kind of derogatory way.

Naomi noticed it. She knew she was only saying that to appear nice, just because she's after the man.

Chris didn't notice, he's a man.

"Thanks," he smiled.

"Your girlfriend is so pretty," mystery girl continued with a fake smile.

The smile Naomi gave her back was just as fake. "Thanks."

Then, the random girl fully turned herself to Chris.

"She is your girlfriend, right?"

The boy seemed to have to think about that question for a few moments, before answering

"Not really, no."

Naomi felt a pang in her chest.

She gave him a side eye, which he didn't seem to notice.
