Around 4 in the morning, the party was still going strong. There were not as many people as there were in the beginning, but there were still enough guests to make the function fun.

Out of the blue, Vinnie Hacker came to join the main group. "Hey guys," he said. "All the others went home but I wanted to come say goodbye first. Haven't seen you guys all evening."

"Vinnie!" Naomi slurred excitedly. "I didn't even know you were here," she told him as the two shared a hug.

"Of course I am!"

Chris gave him a weird look. It was almost jealousy that was visible on his face, and Naomi noticed.

"He punched the bar guy because he was creepy towards me," she told Vinnie as she grabbed a hold of Chris' bicep.

A slight smirk came onto Vinnie's face. "Nice job, man," he said as he held out his fist for Chris to bump.

The other boy seemed to be debating it for a second, but eventually fist bumped him back.

"It was legendary!" an obviously drunk Ryland came to chime in. He put his arm around Chris' shoulder. "My boy here is World. Class. I'm telling you."

Vinnie just raised his eyebrows, smiled and nodded. It was obvious he didn't know what to say.

"Well, I'm gonna get going," he announced eventually. "Have a nice rest of your birthday, Naomi."

"Oh, she will once he stops bothering us," Chris replied, but only soft enough for Ryland to hear.

He laughed at it but tried to reason with his new found best friend. "Come on, he's a nice guy."

"I'm biased because I'm jealous. I'll never like him."

"Bummer."

"Thank you," the girl smiled at Vinnie. "I'll stop by Hype sometime in the near future."

"We'd love that! Bye guys!"

"Bye!"

The DJ was clearly delighted that there were still so many party people, as he kept getting more enthusiastic. Or he was hyped because he was being paid per hour.

He usually didn't do requests, but he couldn't deny the birthday girl's wish of hearing The Spins four times.

The first time he played it, Naomi and Estelle went wild. They put their arms over each other's shoulders and started jumping and screaming along.

"Follow your dreams
YEAH!"

"What's going on with them?" Matt asked his brothers.

"The song possessed them," Nick remarked.

Chris gave his brothers a disapproving look. "I think it's cute that she's so excited."

"You mean they," Nick corrected him.

"What?" the boy was confused.
