Ace was brushing her hair, sitting cross-legged on her bed, waiting for her friends, lost in thought. There's a knock on the door.
"Come in."
The door opens and Xaden steps in. Ace gets off the bet, putting the brush aside.
"What are you doing here, sir? It's girls' night." She walks towards him, looking at him with raised eyebrows.
He was leaning against the closed door, looking at her. Ace was dressed in shorts and a T-Shirt.
"You look good."
"Answer my question, Xaden." She steps closer to him. He reaches for her, pulling her into him. She rolls her eyes, though a small smile steals itself onto her lips. She runs her hands up his chest towards his neck, while his find her waist, going under her shirt.
"Nothing in particular, just wanted to see you." Ace looks at him, blinking.
"Don't bullshit me, Xaden. What do you want?" She smirks.
"Okay, maybe I wanted more than just see you."
And with that he pulls her into a kiss. She smiles into the kiss, moving her hand into his hair, pulling lightly.
"I don't like them touching you." Ace rolls her eyes with a light smile on her lips.
"I'm not interested in them. They're my friends."
She kisses him again, leaning against his chest. Just as the kiss started to get more heated, there was another knock on the door.
Ace looks at him, tilting her head a little.
"You gonna greet them at the door, or how are we doing this?" She smirks a little.
"No, just open the door, I'll disappear using my shadows." She nods, stepping away from him. But before she could open the door, she gets pulled into another quick kiss.
"Tomorrow, Freckles." He whispers into her ear just as she opens the door.
Rhiannon and Violet look at Ace, who is looking a bit dishevelled.
"Come in!" Ace grins, gesturing inside. As they walk past her, she sees Xaden slipping trough the door, sending her a wink.
Ace turns to her friends after closing the door. "Ready for girls' night?"
They all settle into Ace's bed. Ace was leaning against the headboard, Rhiannon had her head in Ace's lap, who's playing with Rhi's hair. Violet sits cross-legged close to the other two, facing them.
"So, what's going on in your life? Any romance?" Violet wiggles her eyebrows.
"Well, me and Tara are on again off again. Though it's more a casual hook-up I'd say. How about you, Vi?"
"Well, Dain kissed me at Threshing. But there was nothing. Like, nothing there. But we've already talked about that."
Ace looks at her with a smirk.
"Okay, two things, one, thank fuck for that, he sucks. And two, I can introduce you to a blond hunk of a man, the name's Liam."
Violet shakes her head.
"I'm not looking for romance at the moment, I'm trying to survive this hell hole. Liam is hot, though."
Ace grins, and Rhiannon nods in agreement.
"Fair enough."
Both girls turn her eyes to Ace.
"How about you? Who were you celebrating with after Threshing?"
