The next day, it was a sunny morning. With flowers blooming and a warm gentle breeze outside Gojo got all dressed up and left his house, he inhaled the fresh air, smelling the scent of honey and lavander mixed together creating a sweet and delicious scent he decided to walk towards the school he only lived 20 minutes away from it so it wouldn't take long for hin to get there *Ahh it's the day before the incident but who cares all I want to see today is my Yuji his bright, and gentle smile* Gojo thought to himself as he was walking towards the school once he got to the school building he saw Yuji there in front of the school doors he didn't see his usual smile he saw him feeling upset he walked up to him trying to figure out what's going on with his lover "Hey Yuji are you okay?, you seem upset" Gojo said his tone of voice sounding a bit worried for him Yuji lost in his thoughts didn't see Gojo walking towards him until he heard his voice once he started speaking to him "Huh? Oh, uh yeah, I'm okay, " Yuji said, trying not to make eye contact with Gojo "No your not okay. Tell me, what's wrong, my love? Why are you upset you're not your usual self who is always happy" Yuji hugged Gojo he didn't say a word he just stayed silent while hugging him Gojo was worried about Yuji he really did care and love him so much he wanted to figure out what was going on with him he wanted to ask more questions but he just let it go he let out a sigh before speaking again "It's alright if you don't want to tell me but I just want to know if your okay once your ready to tell me just text me and I will be Here for you by your side okay?" Both of them walked inside the school building Yuji holding his gand while walking in the hallway Gojo walked Yuji to his classroom not wanting to leave his side once they got to Yuji's classroom Yuji didn't even give him a Goodbye kiss Gojo understood the mixture of feelings Yuji was feeling right now so he just walked away towards his classroom *FEW HOURS LATER >:3) The bell rang everyone went outside to get fresh air all the classes walked towards there friend group or just stayed inside the school Building Gojo walked up to his friends Shoko, Nanami, Haibara, and Geto "Have you guys seen anything unusual about Yuji today?" Gojo asked if any of them knew anything he was desperate to know what was going on with his partner "No not really although his behavior he is not his happy personality he seems upset why is something wrong with him?" All of them said expect for Nanami "Well no I don't know why he is acting this way I tried talking to him and even questioning him but he just stayed silent I thought maybe you guys would know anything" Gojo responded back before anyone else could say anything Nanami finally spoke up "Well it's actually because Itadori lost his grandfather yesterday at the hospital" Nanami said with a serious tone of voice "Poor little Yuji he must have so much pressure on himself did he ever get to see him in his final moments?" Shoko said, sounding a bit curious and sad for Yuji "Well no I didn't get to know anything else but all I got to hear was his older brother sukuna tried taking him to the hospital but some how they were both late by the time they got to the hospital it was already far to late his grandpa had already passed away" Gojo thought for a moment before remembering the fight he had with Sukuna he was the reason they were late he was the reason why Yuji didn't get to see his grandpa in his final moments not even to say goodbye all because Gojo was always clingy to Yuji *No no, It was all my fault if it wasn't for me none of this would've happened all because I am to clingy with Yuji stupid, stupid, stupid!* Goji was lost in his thoughts if he had never hugged Yuji then maybe just maybe they would've got to the hospital just on time while Gojo was sinking in his mind he snapped out once they heard the bell ring it was time to go back to class the group was walking inside the building before separating Gojo hurried to his final class wanting the school day to end fast so he can meet up with Yuji and check up on him the Goji kept checking the clock every 5 seconds with every minute that passed felt like an hour and with every hour that has passed felt like eternity soon after the final bell rung and everyone got up from there seats walking out of the classroom Gojo was the first to get out of the school he stayed behind to try and spot Yuji in the crowd of students getting out of the school soon after he saw Yuji still looking upset walking away from the school building Gojo started running towards him trying to catch up to him once he caught up to Yuji he hugged him tightly from behind "I'm so sorry Yuji It was all my fault.." Yuji stopped once he felt Gojo hug him he didn't expect him to appear out of nowhere."Gojo senpai, what's wrong?" Yuji said, looking up at his taller partner."I.. I know about your grandpa, and it was all my fault. If it wasn't for me, then none of this would've happened.. I understand if you can't forgive me, I truly understand, but just think about it, okay?" Gojo said before he started holding both Yuji's small hands with his, Yuji understood the guilt and regret. Gojo was feeling he was feeling he hesitated for a bit before finally speaking to Gojo. "It's okay Gojo, I'm here for you, and I'll always be," Yuji said, cupping one of Gojo's cheeks with one of his hands, Gojo blushed his face turning a dark shade of pink before he could say anything his body reacted and he started kissing Yuji in public the kiss only lasted for a few seconds before Yuji drawed away both of them walking back home together
