Lingling's mind was still processing everything that had just happened. Her hands gripped the arms of her chair, her knuckles turning white. Being asked to lead a mission was a responsibility unlike anything she had ever experienced before, a test given to her, not just by her father, but by the entire organization. She couldn't fail, she wouldn't.

For the next few days, Lingling immersed herself in her preparations. As the mission's leader, she knew she had to make sure every aspect was covered, and that nothing was left to chance.

She spent long hours going over every detail, the location, the plan, the weapons they would use, the numbers of men they had at their disposal, the potential weaknesses and strengths of their enemies, and so on.

She worked tirelessly, day and night, to ensure everything was in place for the upcoming mission. She researched the target, Niran Kornnaphat, learning as much as she could about him. She also studied his associates, their patterns and movements.

There were meetings with other members of the organization, discussions about strategy, and plans. In these meetings, She was expected to lead, to demonstrate her capabilities as a leader. It was a role she had never performed before, but she had no choice but to adapt.

Her mind was working overtime, but she didn't care. This mission meant everything to her. Her father's expectations and the organization's respect were at stake.

Lingling was aware of her growing feelings for Orm, but she also knew that she had a job to do. The mission came first, and her emotions would have to take a backseat.

As much as her heart ached, as much as she wanted to reach out and see Orm again, she pushed those thoughts aside. She couldn't let her emotions cloud her judgment or compromise the mission. She had to stay focused and in control.

As she continued planning and preparing for the mission, a constant undercurrent of guilt and uneasiness settled within her. She couldn't shake off the thought that her father's target was none other than Orm's own father.

A part of her whispered that she should just call off the whole thing, that Orm didn't deserve any of this, but the other part, the more logical and disciplined part, reasoned that this was her duty, her father's orders. She had no choice. The mission had to continue.

But as the day of the operation approached, Lingling found herself losing sleep and her appetite, tormented by the conflicted emotions raging inside her. Was she really going to go through with this, knowing the pain it would cause to Orm?

She tried to push these thoughts away, to bury them deep within her mind, but each time her mind strayed to Orm's sweet face, her gentle touch from that night, the guilt only grew stronger, more overwhelming.

It was past midnight when Lingling was sitting at her balcony, in a somewhat pensive state. She was holding a glass of red wine and gently swirling the liquid, it's fragrance filling the air with a subtle aroma as she took an occasional sip. The moonlight seeping through the large window, a silver ray caressed her face, revealing her weary eyes that clearly showed the sleepless nights she had recently.

She was conflicted, there was a sense of sadness in her normally stern demeanor. The idea of going against Orm, the woman who had captured her heart was deeply troubling. She knew the mission was crucial, it was given to her by her father, and the possibility of letting him down filled her with dread.

Lingling leaned her forehead against the window, a deep sigh escaped from her lips, her fingers curled into a tight fist as she battled internally with her emotions.

As she stood at the window, her mind and heart in turmoil, the doorbell suddenly rang, piercing the quiet of the room. Her attention momentarily shifted from the view outside to the unexpected interruption. Confusion washed over her face as she glanced at the closed door and then back out the window. Who could be visiting at this hour?
