Lingling's expression darkened as Ying brought up the ongoing feud between their fathers. She had a sinking feeling that whatever Ying was about to say wouldn't sit well with her, and her intuition rarely led her astray.

"What is it?" she asked, her voice laced with a hint of dread.

Ying's smirk faded into a small, somber smile. She knew that the matter they were about to discuss was no laughing matter. She sighed, taking a moment to gather her thoughts before she began to speak.

"Last night, there was an... incident at the casino in Chongqing," she said, her voice now carrying a hint of trepidation, "One of the bouncers was found dead".

Lingling nodded slowly, anger bubbling within her at the revelation. She had sensed something was amiss when her father received the news about the casino in Chongqing, but the details had never been fully disclosed. Now, as Ying confirmed her suspicions, she felt a surge of rage. Lingling furrowed her brow, recognizing the gravity in Ying's words. "So someone died at the casino right?" she asked, her voice laced with concern.

Ying nodded, her expression solemn. "Yes, and it wasn't an accident," she said, her voice hushed. "It was a targeted attack." She glanced briefly at Orm before turning back to Lingling. "You should know,"

"Word on the street is that there was a mysterious man spotted at the casino shortly before the incident. And," she paused for a moment, her gaze turning sharp, "he was none other than one of Niran Kornnaphat's men."

As Lingling heard Ying's words, a sense of realization and shock washed over her. She felt a mix of emotions - fear, anger, and determination.

She felt a chill run up her spine as Ying's words sank in. "Wait, what do you mean by that? Why would one of his men be there? This is a serious accusation you're making!"

Ying's eyes sparkled with intrigue as she noticed Lingling's agitation. "Ah, so you do care about her," she thought, feeling a hint of satisfaction at her own observation.

"I wish I was making it up," she said, her voice laced with sincerity. "But my brother, -he's the one who's managing the casino in Chongqing right now- , he saw him with his own eyes. It couldn't have been anyone else."

Lingling's heart sank at Ying's revelation. It seemed that the feud between their fathers had escalated beyond just threats and plans. The incident in Chongqing was a clear escalation, a warning sign that the conflict between the two men was taking on a more dangerous and violent turn.

"If this is true," Lingling said, her voice low and tense. "Then our fathers' quarrel has become more than just a battle of words. Blood has been spilled...and it seems that Niran Kornnaphat is looking for war."

As Lingling spoke, Orm stood frozen, her mind racing. Her father? Was he really involved in this? She couldn't believe it. The thought of her father's men behind the attack... it felt surreal, like a nightmare that she couldn't wake up from.

As she tried to process the situation, she felt a wave of confusion and betrayal wash over her. How could her father stoop so low as to target someone innocent like this? Was he really willing to go to extremes just to gain an advantage in the conflict?

Ying nodded, a sober expression on her face. "If this is true, then the situation is worse than we thought," she said, her voice grave. "Your fathers need to put a stop to this. It's time for the younger generations to step up and stop this conflict before it's too late."

Lingling sighed, her shoulders slumping slightly. "I'm not sure if that's possible," she said softly. "My father can be stubborn, even reckless at times. He won't back down unless he's forced to...and something tells me that won't happen easily."
