During the first break of the day, the villains all met up in the cafeteria, eating breakfast and chattering around.
"How was your break guys?" Morgie asked the group, genuinely invested. They didn't have much of a chance of really catching up before the classes started.
"I was mostly sailing the seas, trying to find that stupid crocodile that has stolen my hand", James muttered with a thick accent. There was one minor thing he had left out that he had been doing. He met up a lot of times with Morgie, almost every day they both had time, but he couldn't say that. Nobody knew about their relationship.
He was the captain and Morgie was the closest thing he had to a first mate. They hadn't yet said that they loved each other, but James did love Morgie and the Le Fay boy did feel the same way.
"I've learned some new spells. Which is useful since I became the protector of the Moors. After the human kingdom tried to invade us again during the break, I fear this will turn into something more," Maleficent explained. She may not be fully evil, but she was always interested in learning more about magic, even if it was dark, evil or even forbidden magic.
"If it does get worse, you can always find safety in the underworld," Hades mentioned. He was dead serious about it as well. If she needed a safe space, he would give it to her, no matter the cost.
She smiled at him, he was always very sweet to her, though she didn't know why.
"I despise these humans, such poor simple fools thinking they could destroy the moors." Maleficent complained, before hissing. There was nothing more she hated than humans, having lost her parents to the war humans raged against the Moors.
"Aren't you dating one?" Uliana asked, it was more of a statement really. Everyone knew about her relationship with Stefan, the human boy.
Hades tried hard not to roll his eyes, his jealousy was slowly starting to consume him whole.
"Stefan is different, he would never hurt me or harm the Moors," Maleficent claimed defensively. She was convinced that Stefan would never do anything to hurt her, even if it was wrongly so.
„If you think so, I was terrorizing some of my cousins, plotting revenge against Arielle." Uliana said. She had always had a grudge against Ariel, ever since she outsmarted Ursula, some short years ago.
"Ugh, I remember that, Hades said, before adding "I was working in the underworld, planning on maiming pain and panic, but other than that, just exchanging some letters with you guys."
Hades didn't exchange many letters with his friends, maybe one or two, a handful with Uliana. She was, after all, his niece, but with Maleficent, he had sent her a lot of letters.
"Do you have any evil plans?" Uliana asked the group.
"I'm glad you asked, darling." Hook said with a mischievous smile.

There is nothing that could've stopped the group from terrorizing some first-year students. Especially since Maleficent learned quite a few new spells, making her the star of the show.
When they heard the footsteps of the other students nearing the school lounge, they all got into position, Maleficent flying to a corner where she would not be seen.
"I don't know where we have to go." one of the new students said to the others. The school was very old, with corners and twisted ways and secret passages.
Suddenly, with a burst of magic, the walls started to change, the students were confused, slightly jumpy.
"Did you get lost?" Uliana asks mockingly?
"Yes, could you tell us in which direction-" the student stopped mid-sentence.
While he was blabbering, Maleficent cast a spell that caused the entire room to darken to the point where they saw almost nothing.
Maleficent flew over the heads and behind the group of first-year students. She loved flying. The sound of her landing on the ground caused them to turn around.
All they saw was a pair of glowing green eyes, pale white skin and horns. A scary sight for all. What they did not expect was to suddenly be thrown in the air and suddenly crash into the air as Maleficent moved her hands around, causing them to fly in the direction she pointed to.
Maleficent hissed at the humans, before she and her friends walked away. Hades was to her right while the rest of the group was on her left.
Hades was simply impressed with what Maleficent was able to do. She had mentioned in one of the letters that she had learned more spells and told him about it, but seeing it right in front his very own eyes was enchanting.
"You did very well," he whispered into her ear, wanting to say more," You're impressive.
She smiled at him, pressed her tongue against her teeth. She touched his shoulder, her hand sliding down his arm and making a stop at his hand and squeezing it softly. He was dumbfounded, his breath caught in his throat. He couldn't do anything to stop the heat from spreading into his face. She had always made him feel like that, even the smallest of things, the smallest of touches simply bewitched him.
They all walked a bit together until they reached their lockers and had to go their own way to each of their classes. They've made plans to see each other again during the lunch break and go to the library, discuss some plans and eat.
Hades' gaze stayed a bit longer on Maleficent, as it should have as she walked to the classroom carrying a few books with her. How he wished they had shared this class, just so he could walk with her.
