Chapter 4

"What the fuck is wrong with you?" Franklin exclaimed.

Nakangisi at nakatayo lang ang babae sa kanya. Franklin was pissed. Kung hindi lang babae ang nasa harapan niya ngayon ay kung ano na ang ginawa niya. Baka ginulpi pa niya ito. He was on fire, but his friends were holding him on his arms and shoulder to keep him steady and away from trouble.

"You messed with the wrong person, dear," sagot ng babae. "I mean, you thought I wouldn't fight back? Well, look at you right now. You're so helpless."

"Fuck you!"

"Oh, funny!" She laughed. "You're not going to fuck me or anything. You're just going to sit down and drink with your loser friends."

"You should go away," biglang sabi ni Devin kaya tumapon ang atensyo ng babae sa kanya. "If you mess with my friend, you're getting yourself in trouble. You don't know what I can do, especially, if you're in a club where I'm friends with the owner. I can give them a call right now and ban you for life. Do you want that to happen?"

Hindi sumagot ang babae. Nanlisik na lamang ang mata nito saka tumalikod at padabog na naglakad palayo.

Napasinghal si Franklin at ikinalas ang sarili mula sa pagkakahawak ng mga kaibigan nito sa kanya. "Get your hands off of me." Inalis naman ni Harri at Caiden ang pagkakahawak sa kaibigan.

Kumuha ng tissue si Franklin mula sa table at pinasadahan ng punas ang shirt niya, pero hindi nito matutuyo ang suot na damit. Hinubad naman ni Connagh ang suot nitong coat at inabot sa kaibigan. Hinubad ni Franklin ang basang shirt at saka niya ipinatong ang coat na ipinahiram ni Connagh.

"Thanks, Con. This should be fine."

"Where did you meet that woman?" tanong pa ni Devin."

"At the beach," sagot ni Harri. "Frank was trying to hit on that girl. She didn't give him a chance so he threw sands on her."

Natawa si Devin. "Why did you do that Frank? You thought Tampa was big enough to get away with it, huh?"

He shook his head. "Yeah, I shouldn't have done it, but she pissed me off so whatever. What else should we do while we're out here in Florida?"

"Tomorrow, we'll be going to a friend of mine who lives here in Tampa and attend his birthday. We will all go so please wear something nice and don't do anything stupid," sabi pa ni Devin. "If anyone would do such stupid things would be left out here in Tampa."

Napatingin naman sila kay Frank at na-offend pa 'to sa mga tingin nila.

"Fuck you, guys. I'm just going to the restroom, I felt a little sticky."

"Be quick," paalala naman ni Connagh.

Umalis si Frank at hinanap ang daan papuntang banyo, pero as usual, nadatnan nito na may pila ro'n. Walang VIP treatment ang pila sa banyo kaya naman naghintay ito ng ilan pang minuto hanggang sa makapasok sa loob. When he noticed some semen near the toilet, his face fell on disgust. Hindi na nito nagawa pang umihi at naghugas na lamang ng kamay. Kumuha rin ito ng tissue at binasa ito nang kaunti para ipunas sa mga leeg niya. Binasa na rin niya ang ulo nya dahil naglalagkit ang bandang tainga niya rin.

As soon as he got out of the restroom and went back to where his friends at, he found no one on their tables.

"What the fuck is going on? Where are they now?" Mabilis na inikot ni Franklin ang paningin sa paligid, pero hindi niya matanaw ang mga kaibigan nito.

Sinubukan niya rin namang tawagan isa-isa ang mga number nila, pero hindi nito sinasagot mga tawag niya. Walang nagawa si Franklin kung hindi ang pumunta na lamang sa bar counter at mag-order ng isang bote ng beer. He even asked the bartender kung napansin niya ang mga kaibigan, but he has been busy to notice anyone else around. He looked around and saw many beautiful faces around, but doesn't seem to attract him at all. He was looking for something specific that himself couldn't even distinguish what it was.
