Why did you change

Darce silently looked down at the scar on her palm wich she shared with tally and peris all three of them having made the promise to be bestfriends forever at only the age of 7 and they had never broken it and hoped they never would

Darce thumb trailed over the scar as she wore peris hoody missing everything what had to do with him before signing and laying down while grabbing her crow necklace wich peris had gifted her in hopes of her becoming his girlfriend

She could only count down day after day in hopes that she would soon became one with him once more

Scan after scan became more filled with hatred and nervousness knowing she did not want to become a pretty despite her lover having become one

Every day darce texted to peris in hopes he would respond...he never did

''Preferred eye color?''the scan asked as she stood in the darkness of the room making her swallow as she responded in a shaky voice

''Preferred length?''the scan asked a few days after the other scan. Her body shook with nerves wishing and praying everything would come to a stop. Praying she could be free instead of living in a world that was created just to be pretty

Day after day. Night after night no response came to either her praying nor the texts she had send to peris and so when the night finnaly came to see peris her excitement never settled

Darce made her bed look like she slept in it before walking to the window and twisting her ring ''exit please''she said softly before twisting her ring making the window open allowing her to jump out and meet tally outside the schools walls

''god i was worried you woudnt make it''tally breathed out as she grabbed her hand before they both started to run hoping to not be caught

When they finnally reached the bridge tally called for peris''nose!''she whisper shouted as darce whisper shouted''peris love!''

No response came to their calls no mater how often they called for him..he was simply just not there

Maybe he was held back?

Maybe he couldn't leave the city?

Darce signed and looked at the bright city miles away from them before glancing to tally who was already looking towards her''you thinking the same thing?''she asked softly

''you know i am''tally whispered back before they grabbed the rope hanging from the bridge and climbed onto it

Darce hated how far from the ground she stood as she climbed around the cement beams of the bridge to reach the other side of the ocean that separated them from the pretties

When she could finnaly climb down she breathed out a sign of relief before grabbing tally's hand and carefully sneaking past a making out couple that laid in the grass serounded by beautiful lights

When a pink and blue mask fell over the egde of the bridge where people partied on she and tally exchanged a look before each grabbing one ad placing it on their face

A blue glow admitted from the blue mask that looked much like a raven before it went down her body and slowly her school outfit became a beautiful purple blue like dress that reached the ground with slits on both side of her thighs to her hips

Tally wore a beautiful pink dress with a pig mask and she looked absolutely stunning''tally you look perfect''Darce breathed out as she admired her bestfriend who chuckled breathlessly and gestured towards her
