Standing on the beams under the bridge panting she could not force herself to stop crying As her heart shattered again and again the words of peris echoing trough her mind again and again

Tally gasped as she acidentelly kicked a stone into the water below catching a warblings attention ''this is the warden stay where you are''a voice echoed trough the speakers

Darce's head snapped towards the girl who suddenly apeared on tally's side and laid her hand on tally's mouth to silence her''get on or we'll all get caught''the girl said making darce shake her head

''Go. There's not enough space for three ill be fine''darce whispered making tally move to protest but it was to late as Darce took a deep breath and dived into the water below

The coldness of the water did nothing to slow her down as she swam down to the bottom of the river. Her eyes moving up at the bright light of the warbling wich quickly faded as it followed after tally and the girl

Darce forced herself to ignore the burn in her lungs as she swum forward digging her hands into the sand beneath to stay close to the bottom when her hands met something harsh making her come to a stop and look down

She was unable to keep in the air and swum up with the last bit of strength she had left an quickly took in deep breaths when her head reached above the surface. The darkness of the night hid her from view as she looked around for the warblings that searched for her

When one and close to her she quickly took a deep gasp of air and swum back down to the bottom ignoring the coldness of her body as she digged her hands into the sand beneath her once more

When the light faded her curiousity towards the metal had not and so she moved her hands trough the cold sand beneath until she once more felt the metal in her hands

She could feel her lungs start to burn the longer she took making her shove the metal into her pocket before swimming up and climbing onto the surface

She took deep gasps as she moved her body into the bushes and hid from another warbling that searched for her body on the rivers egde before sneaking her way back into her dorm

When she finnally shut the door behind her she slid down onto the ground tiredness filling her body as her shattered heart once more became all she felt as her hand moved into her pocket she remembered the piece of metal she had stuffed in her pocket and pulled it out to finnally see what it was

''Just wait''tally said excitedly making her chuckle softly as she let herself be pulled along

''I'm not sure if i should do this''Darce breathed out hesitantly as she looked between Shay and tally''I really really hate hights''she mumbled softly

''The more you ride the more it learns your style. Besides fear only makes you stronger if you work with it instead of against it''Shay said positively making darce sign and nod''you just gotta lean in and commit''

Tally shuffled as she almost fell while darce tried to ignore the fact that her board was slowly going higher''squeeze that core''Shay said looking at them

As darce and tally moved forward tally fell off the board as it flew up and threw her off before crashing into drace's board making her yell as she crashed onto the harsh ground

''Fuck''Darce gasped out as the air escaped her lungs before a chuckle escaped her despite the pain''that was awesome''Darce muttered as she pushed herself up ready to go again
